Everything is performative and calculated, so sometimes it's hard to get a feel for them and where you stand with them. Outside of anything but annoyance and exhaustion, I mean.
It's one of the reasons I'm kinda hesitant to dip my toe into irl arts communities/groups. I desire a peaceful life in my "beautiful duwang (chew)" and someone like that would probably burn my metaphorical house down over differences of opinion.
