At the time, Marvel also decided to heavily promote Spider-Punk in the comics for synergy (they do this for any Marvel movie) and the comic was terrible, the typical "punk is so good and le fascism bad!!!" comic even though the country in the comic (probably America, I forget) was basically a third world country and the anarchists were making it worse (ironically the villain was right). Now you never hear about him so it didn't work (thankfully).
Judging by the only line of dialogue I remember from him in across the spiderverse. Someone told him something about helping civilians or something and he replied "I will, but not because you told me to" That one line told me everything I needed to know about the character.

Be wary of people with artstyles like this.
They try to be so "cute pastel uwu wholesome" but there is a 99.99% chance they are the shittiest person you'll ever meet.
this is because a lot of these people weren't socialized as children properly and don't know how to "play" with others.
Why do you think Sexual assault and other shit is so common in these niche online groups?

Wait, I thought the character's punk philosophy was meant to be a joke. You're telling me the writers were serious?

Ha, whenever they write something as blatant as this, they're serious. He's a jerk and people (left-wing Tumblrites) loved him because "anarchy."
Like that one disabled Spider-Woman who had some disease to her legs, who was a self insert in the comics for a big Spider-Verse event (ended up being a nothingburger as usual for these events) and they kept complimenting her in story and clearly she was "important" enough to keep showing up in all these events over better characters, it was so jarring.
Looked it up, her code name is Sun-Spider and her actual name is Charlotte Webber, which is corny.
People can't just make a good story/art anymore, it always has to have some message or the story/art itself sucks and they hide it behind some SJW nonsense, which they're serious about including. Why do you think they also shilled that Indian Spider-Man in the movies (and also in tie-in comics for synergy again) too?

Ah, so he's getting the G.I. Robot treatment.

What's next, her meeting Professor X and Daredevil?

At the very least, Pavitr was meant to serve as the overconfident newcomer who hasn't experienced the stress of being a hero.

Why was Spider-Punk brought in?
the movie was made by Sony and the previous director for the first movie supported Antifa so :\
So am I the moron for not getting that it wasn't a joke or are they the morons for expecting me to take it seriously?

Yada yada, where's the "this fictional character I like agrees with my political/current thing position!!" image when you need it?

And how is this supposed to stop the "genocide" in Gaza?

It's not. It's free internet points. It's grift of the moment until the war ""ends"" and people are left to question what else they should try to moral grandstand over.

It's the biggest case of "character I fixate over AGREES with my political opinions and I TOTALLY understand them enough where they'll absolutely fight for a bunch of Middle Easterners and illegals and-" I've seen in Current Thing since BLM. Not even the Ukraine war was this desperate.

In the end, it's no different from a well off middle class civilian whining about Fascism and living in a dictatorship.

People full of themselves and thinking they're gonna make an impact on society when the only impact they'll bring was how True and Honest the right were when it came to telling how nonsensical many left wingers are and their grand delusion of """fighting""" for a cause they know nothing about but drowning in it anyway because of their desperation to become an ally, a NICE person, a DECENT HUMAN BEING. No matter how much you try to be good, you're never enough for a leftist. You can do everything right but make one mistake (or dare feel bad for Charlie Kirk's assassination), you're no different from a genocidal Nazi gassing the Jews.

It's all so tiresome. I don't know how some of these people mentally live.

And this will put fear into "Nazis" and "Fascists" how, exactly? You guys do love imagine brutally murdering your opponents for the crime of having a differing opinion. Y'all already achieved it once, why not twice?

Come on, show how quirky you are by drawing your Pinterest frog beheading ICE agents. Surely, that'll get outsiders to care for your side!

God, man.

God, man.
They just hope it inspires someone else to do what these people don't have the balls to do.

They want someone to take the fall so they can take the credit and feel had something to do with it.

These people love to cite what happened in Korea when citizens scared the government enough to nullify a law (I forgot what it was). The thing is, the Koreans actually DID something TOWARDS the government, not just scream a lot and hope that changes things.
That's why the "no kings protest" was such a Joke.

Behold, the disastrous effects of a catastrophically-high divorce rate and no father figure.
Not the best thread to ask this but why does the absence of a father results in cases like this consistently? And why is fatherlessness seemingly becoming an epidemic? I've seen many people saying this and i want to know more.

Fathers are important because they provide the hard boundaries and protections that Mothers lack, as well as the hard guides for children to look up-to in their first years. I blame a lot of this madness on the Free Love/You don't need no man to be happy side of the aisle, as well as the destabilization and repeated external and internal fracturing of the Faith, which originally did provide that moral guidance for those that may have lacked fathers in the past.

When it all works in sync, the support systems that could prevent deviant behavior in the past, are now faulty and in dire need of repair/overhaul.

Because modern times (i.e. Current Thing) said it's gay to have loving parents that care for your well being and are willing to be hard on you when necessary to keep you from making idiotic decisions. Befriend and entrust literal strangers with 50 mental illnesses and more doomerism in their system than your average atheist or conspiracy theorist.

Remember the ultimate leftist/LGBT motto? That they're your REAL family and you can TRUST THEM with everything? Yeah.

Why is this seen as a legit argument with some people? Even if said fictional character was real, why would their opinion matter? Like "Luffy would totally beat up ICE agents" and? I'm pretty sure Luffy would also beat up the cartels and thus prevent the main reason why people leave their countries. Regardless, the character is not real, so who cares?
