Some cringe I found today:
I've always liked pastel colours. People and this art style ruined pastel colour palette for me.

The chubby one is kind of adorable despite the weird backward hand and the way the artist detailed one of the feet but not the other. Not sure why they have such an obsession with words on ribbons and the phrase "too cute" though. other than trying to make it look like a tattoo but tats are so mainstream now even the most mild-mannered of people have one somewhere.

True, I know they liked Animal Crossing: New Leaf because apparently letting male characters wear dresses is a huge step towards tranny acceptance. More like it'd be unnecessary and a waste of time to program the game so male characters can't wear skirts and dresses.

I think the SJWs have something to dislike about Nintendo's other titles, so yes. Some SJWs did raise a stink about the "Are you a boy or girl?" line in the Pokemon games though.

They would want that line to be changed to this instead:

In much the same way that at some point, the ability to make something safer only ends up making it prohibitively expensive to build and maintain, there's a point of diminishing returns on "diversity" as well where any attempt to be more inclusive only complicates things for no real gain.

Which is why most of the SJW movement is so infuriating to me, attributing malice to what's a logical result of trying to program a game/make a movie/draw a comic, extra work for extra work's sake isn't productive for the content producers, but at the same time, without their warm fuzzies from senpai noticing them, the SJWs cannot resist the urge to go into attack mode.

Really, if they implemented a protagonist sprite/model for every one of those genders they'd likely be criticized as not "visible" enough or as an offensive stereotype. (see "man in a dress" complaints tumblr likes to go on about)

Seriously though, video games with gender choices should be a godsend. Just pick what you'd rather be and none of the other characters question it.

Considering gay marriage isn't even legal in Japan yet (it has significant support, but it's still not fully legalized by the whole country yet), what on Earth makes them think that Nintendo of Japan would even consider such a thing? Way to impose Western beliefs on Asians, colonialist shitlords.

Plus, with the way NOA Treehouse got dragged through the mud over the whole Fire Emblem Fates flap (I understand both sides of the issue, but this isn't the time/place to discuss that), it's not like NOA would be able to add that in translation without risking another massive bitchfit from the GooberGrapes.

As fucking bizarre as Modern Bubsy is, she's still way more interesting than a lot of the reimaginings in this thread. Probably because the creator makes it a point to make Modern Bubsy as miserable as possible. Most of the shit we see here goes out goes out of its way to make sure their favorite characters never have to experience anything bad ever, since it's so very important that they are shown being able to live their lives without any microaggressions that might make them at all sympathetic. Meanwhile Modern Bubsy is a literal crackwhore.
