I'll answer 'cause I found it myself. It's this furry dude who has a huge inexplicable boner for shitty mascot-era platformers, and this Modern Bubsy is his personal Sonichu. He's hugely insecure and hates SJWs, "edgelords" (because the-cringe-channel featured his blog), Sonic fans, and people who find his oversexualized furries attractive. Also he made a Space Funeral fangame that prominently features Modern Bubsy for God knows what reason.

Go Make Me a Sandwich goes into what makes a drawing beefcake or not. While some of it makes a decent point or two, I've always noticed a massive hypocrisy with SJW/femist critics of this stuff. They bitch about the slightest amount of sexiness or show of breasts, complain about the "male gaze" how it exploits female characters and are pretty much demanding that professional companies should stop doing that. Yet, want to drool all over hot guys, forget about the agency for fictional characters and don't raise a stink when Dick Grayson's butt is showing.

I also noticed they don't like poses of confident men. Even a lot of cheesecake pics the women are smiling or have some form of self-confidence. Granted the author is the kind of person who thinks that if a man is taking a fair amount of room and leaning forward when sitting is an attack against her.

Most likely it's something to do with rampant narcissism. The amount of super-special-snowflake a character has is directly proportional to how often its owner will try and whore it out and shove it in people's faces. Taurin Fox (the furry from the rainbow flag fursecution meme) has a really boring fursona and outside of it being used as a joke you never see it, and you probably wouldn't even know if you'd seen him because his character is literally just a fox. On the other end of the spectrum are people like So Sorry and Duncan Roo who have spent stupid amounts of money to have their characters put into games like Undertale and Kaiju Combat, respectively. Both of them are dramawhores when it comes to their characters as well (So Sorry being a gross fatfur with a victim complex, and Duncan holding game developers hostage financially if they don't cater to his whims).
