At this point, I'm just waiting for the day where, without any sort of irony (or intelligence), they declare themselves and the SJW culture a sexist hivemind and go on a fifty page rant as to why.

The Go Make Me a Sandwich lady is back again and I have to wonder, maybe the reason she "doesn't feel welcome" at these events is of her own making. If you're totally sperging about the card art and letting it get to you this much, you've pretty much created your own Hell. If you worry about being the "boring woman who only talks about feminism", you probably need to look in the mirror. This may sound mean, but I have to wonder who was the desperate man was who not only married this woman, but reproduced with her.
Or probably suffers from (as Jon Taffer puts it) SMS: shattered man syndrome. Her husband is either very patient or a masochist.
One must ask, what is wrong with the thigh high boots? If they say it's some sort of sexy female armor, I can recall it in one game that it used as unisex armor (Dragon's Dogma).Of course, these people hate ultra-cute Linkle's design.
In regards to the hint, it could only fly past their heads if they think thigh-high=sexy. Most images of thigh-high they probably got from things that would downright be fan-service in nature or something similar to that. That's because women with thigh high stuff that shows off skin becomes 'sexy' somehow.
Hint: it's not just the thigh space, dumbasses.
I think part of it has to do with the fact that many sexy 90's female superheroes and villianesses (like Psylocke and Lady Death) wore thigh high boots that the ideal of it equaling sexualization stuck. In regards to the hint, it could only fly past their heads if they think thigh-high=sexy. Also, they give off an implication that the game should have less magic users. Because they aren't as badass as a sword wielder or because the outfit comes off as impractical. In the end though, it's just a game consisting of polygons given meshes and texture while data is complied to make results based off player and AI input.

They're either screaming " shorts = seuxalized" or attempting to say she's trans.

If they do make her Link's sister and both exist in their universe, that will throw them for a loop. They're either screaming " shorts = seuxalized" or attempting to say she's trans.

I dunno who's worse.
So they say being serious makes her heroic? That's a weak reason when considering characterization, choosing to fight despite not being strong or as courageous like Link makes her heroic. And from another perspective, fighting hordes of enemies outnumbering her can also count as heroic. Some people have asked BABD what they have against cute characters and they say they don't, but since Linkle is not all serious like her male counterpart, she doesn't look heroic. (While toon Link was cute, he was still serious enough for them.) They also don't like how sexy and cute are major choices for female characters.

It's easy to overcompensate when trying to make a heroic female character, and think that any hint of "girliness" needs to be eliminated, which includes any lightness in her personality whatsoever. Joking, coyness, shyness, all have to be excised because heroes MEAN BUSINESS!
The "serious" grim/dark character as hero, when taken too far, is, pretty much what we got in comics during the 90's, "heroes' who were so SERIOUS that they were little more than sociopaths who just happened to kill bad guys most of the time.
A poorly-developed "serious hero" is as cliche' and dull as the cackling "I'll show them ALL!!!" mad doctor. Neither are very deep nor very good outside the simplest of works or intentional parodies.
Spider Man's schtick is telling lame jokes while dodging tossed objects, and nobody ever accused him of not being heroic.....
Were the SJWs hating on Legend of Korra too because she probably did not fit that said criteria? Were SJWs even around back then?
Not only would the poorly-developed "serious hero" be cliche and dull, it would show a lack of creativity on ones part because it means that hey, people like those on BABD can't come up with something different if they think a female hero shouldn't crack jokes like Spiderman or look cute like Linkle. The serious hero thing may be original in some cases but that only applies if other types of heroes were overused. Besides, having a diverse array of personalities and types help one make a character. Not every person wants a hero that is some grimderp 90's edgelord or a goody-two shoes paladin type. It's easy to overcompensate when trying to make a heroic female character, and think that any hint of "girliness" needs to be eliminated, which includes any lightness in her personality whatsoever. Because that's how SJW logic works, there's never a clear answer to their motives at all.I'm pretty sure that Squirrel Girl and magical girls fit that exact criteria. So what makes them okay then?
I wasn't paying attention back then, but maybe? If there were, they all died out when the lesbianism angle came around, as @Steamboat_Bill pointed out. Were the SJWs hating on Legend of Korra too because she probably did not fit that said criteria? Were SJWs even around back then?
He looks like he's one of those dreamy Latino lovers you see in a woman's fantasies (read: male "power fantasy") on TV. Well, his head at least.I take it that no one has posted this monstrosity yet?

Also love how the artist had add some identities on the left, so we all know that this character is SPESHUL and OPPRESSED, instead of, y'know, just doing a fucking redesign.
