Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

So it appears that the SJW art movement is showing itself on reddit as well. Here's one example of a piece of WoW fanart that one of those people "made it better".

The original artwork.

That same piece of art, "made better".

That person wasn't subtle about that work either:

That comment reeks of a typical Tumblrtot, and the "improvement" to the art is clearly Repair Her Armor-tier.

It also wasn't the first time this person went on with "improving" other people's art, here's another example:

The original, it's the first picture.

The "improvement."
They literally scribbled over the bare patches of her skin with Photoshop. What the fuck?

On a scale of 10-10, how triggered would these people be if someone took their art and "improved" it? Photoshopping Characters into being white, having bigger breasts, ect...

So, basically, "don't show any skin for it is impure"? Wow. Puritanism evolved into a very wacky thing when I wasn't looking.
I am surprised they aren't calling for early 1900s bathing suits that covered everything from ankle to neck.

How long until They start claiming Burqas are the most feminist dress ever?

Been there, done that. It was a number of years ago, but from what I remember the thought process was that with women covered completely in bags then men will never be distracted by looks and truly listen to what women are saying. Cause, like, Saudia Arabia is known for that shit.

As the recent Zamii suicide incident told us, it would be a very ugly sight indeed. And also keep in mind, the Tumblrtots got enraged at a cis female for drawing art of a Steven Universe character, and making that character slightly less in weight. I wouldn't want to imagine how the outrage would multiply to exponential levels if it was a cis white male that decided to "improve" on a piece of SU art the Tumblrtots revere because it depicted a character or characters with proper skin and weight.

My personal favorite thing to see of this would be if someone edited magical girl art to make the characters older, as well as sexualized to Ivy Valentine-levels of scantily clad. But sadly, I don't think Tumblr reveres magical girls to the level of Steven Universe characters at the moment.

Suicide? What happened?

Massively triggered.

This is why people who don't give a shit about the impotent weapons of tumblrinas need to DO LOTS MORE OF THIS SHIT.

Sure, they can torture some naive, innocent teen kid to suicide over it. Most people aren't that sensitive kid.

There was that time one of the Onion's spinoff sites posted an article called "5 Disney princesses re-imagined as Caucasian" with associated photoshopped image gallery and a lot of SJWs thought it was real and got megabutthurt about it.

Smearing shit on skin is not an improvement.
Especially since said shit doesn't match in color. Really, the artist only added in some brown coloring. No attempt at trying to redraw the design or even putting on something that doesn't clash in color.

Considering any sort of SU fan-art can trigger tumblrinas if it doesn't meet their criteria, this could no doubt offend.

Basically, my work won't be a success, I don't have the cash, I won't change the media world by doing my own stuff, people won't like it so it's better to expect the world to suit me.

Pretty much. Even with people like Anita, who does have the cash doesn't do shit to change things.

Steven Universe taking the Superwholock route is funny because their rep is dead.

The "Steven Universe fans are the new bronies" thing reminds me of some...colorful interpretations of my little pony characters I've come across.

This image absolutely pains me. Not because of the art style or the racial "diversity", but because of how the decent work use of lineart and colors are used on such a shit piece. There are so many artists on tumblr who have interesting uses of lineart/color/texture, but waste it on shit like this.
