Indeed. Why should SJW's draw their own OC when they can take an existing character and put some spin on it that appeals to no one but themselves. Canon and word of the original creator be damned because apparently, what an SJW draws is more important and serious.
 
I don't mind non-white human versions of non-humans. What I don't like is non-white versions of white characters. It feels a bit fetishistic to me.

Man, I never thought about how Papyrus' costume would look on an actual living person. I feel uncomfortable now :(.

Still I don't mind people drawing humanized versions of characters being non white. But I can't say I'm fond of them turning characters with established ethnicities into ugly steretypes.

Honestly, there really shouldn't be that much of an issue with drawing humanized versions of characters being non-white. Just don't be a total self-righteous bitch about it.

On the other side of the coin, you have people screeching about because he's mildly feminine how it must mean he's actually trans or genderqueer or god-fucking-knows what.

It's like how the kid you play as, Frisk, is referred to as they/them/the human throughout the game so people can sort of insert themselves into that character's position; the moment you call them a he or she the SJW brigade has the biggest tizzy saying you're erasing genderless characters/culture or something like that.

A lot of tumblr has fetish for Black and/or trans people and it's pretty creepy to claim it as representation because their headcanons have very little personality.

There's kind of a reason for this. Actual in-game secret spoilers below.

Mettaton, writing about seeing the plans for his EX form, specifically says "in a form like that, I could finally feel like...myself" and "there's no way I can be a star the way I am now".

Given the clear PC Points bait on display, it's not that far a jump for the fandom to make.

It's supposed to be Rick from Rick and Morty. Probably the only time the tumblr nose /could/ work, because he's an alcoholic.
 
I was looking at an article on sexist moments in comic books and of course, Power Girl's boob window is not only on the list, but is number one. Honestly, what is it about that costume that has people screaming sexism the second it comes to mind. There are costumes that show a lot more breast and though Power Girl has big breasts, there are plenty of female super heroes that have been drawn with them as well.

Though I will agree with the author that Frank Miller's portrayal of women is sexist.
