I mean, if all you have in your fridge is eggs and some milk, maybe you shouldn't be spending whatever money you do have on nice clothes, and instead buy some food? Yes, poorer people can have nice things, but at the same time, priorities should be on not starving to death/paying bills etc.

To be fair when I was poor I had good clothes including shoes and bags, a desent but not top of the line phone, a fairy new bike and few other things might be considered to be nice things. Thing was that those were my only things and getting them was far from simple buying nice thing because I want nice things. Some were old stuff I had from childhood, others were practical gifts over the years that I asked for instead of something fun, from sales and bought used or stuff I had fixed. I had always been advised that having few nice things was better than having multiple crappy things so I tried follow that. I rarely bought anything that wasn't food or toiletries, even they were dictated by what was cheap that week. So it wasn't like I bought nice things instead of food. It was more keeping the nice things I had was better use of money than selling them used and then using that small amount of money you could get from selling used items for food. Then again I never let myself be into a position where my bank account was totally empty even if ment going without something I wanted but didn't desperately need so getting food wasn't really a huge issue (helps that I can cook and I had a freezer).
Still some poor people are poor because they buy without thinking a head. Luxury now is better than steady future. While you shouldn't dismiss someone's issues just because they have some nice things, the poor should also understand that skepticism is fair because that can lead into solutions and keep parasites away.

I’m not sure why they bring it up when they’re just one example in a thread that’s over 2,000 pages. I doubt KF would even appear if someone googles their user name unless they’ve been featured a lot.
Also whatever you put online is allowed to be subjected to criticism. I’m still baffled why zoomers get pissed when it happens. If you don’t want people to see your art either put it on a private limited access account or don’t post it at all.
