Should there be a list of the tumblrs that have been reported already? It does seem sort of confusing to have to go back and check serveral archive links to make sure one isn't double posting.

Oh hey that's me. I had no idea if anyone else had "claimed" it but I've already reported her and have been trying to goad her a bit with anon asks so whatever. A chimpout's a chimpout regardless of who technically "started it".
 
Thanks to everyone's amazing detective skills here, I'm positive that you guys have made it 5x easier to get that degree in law school and a job in the police force!

Come to think of it, I think I know how I'm gonna spend tomorrow besides eating hotdogs and waving around sparklers... ;)

Me too. We really ought to coordinate. Also that person has a follower and regular asspat buddy (who incidentally also doesn't know how to internet) who posts a big screed about "if you dox me I'm under eighteen, so prepare to have your ass sued."

Because there's a really fine line between an evil trolling project... and an actual project that bloody succeeds to do something that passes as justice.

We've seen bloody enough of "social justice" projects that depend entirely on RED LINES and INTERNETS GIFS. Don't be fucking Reddit. Don't be fucking front lines of Gamergate.

several of these have been reported by more than one kiwi. I can add the names of those who first found them but i can't help but feel that our efforts would be better directed at collaborating on them together rather than bickering over trophy points.

These are just dumb kids being kids. They're entitled foofy rich girls with respectable parents committing misdemeanors, the worst that'll happen is they'll be banned from a store or two and their parents will have to pay a fine. Do any of us honestly care so much about Walmart's profit margins that we think bringing these idiots to 'justice' has any importance whatsoever? This is to make tumblrinas chimp out where we can see it because it's super funny, just like when we call the cops on suicide-baiters. That's not evil, it's goddamn funny and harmless because these spastics bring it on themselves. Anybody who thinks they're actually serving out 'justice' is deluding themselves and should probably go harass a 12-year-old white girl for wearing a bindi or something instead.

Just a idea and I haven't tried it yet, I'm still looking for a good target but...

If you find a lifters blog where there is a selfie picture i'd give a reverse image search a try, it can turn up results from Facebook and you might get lucky.
 
This Michiana Crime Stoppers line I called said that they will not be open until Monday, so I'll have to wait until that time and then call the number back to follow up on the tip.

I think I've missed the low hanging fruit. I have an idea, though. Why not pick particularly high priority targets who don't do dumb shit like actually leave in exif data, and have silly bounties on them?

Maybe exotic Chris-Chan memorabilia or shit. Just little incentives.

Imagine the chimpouts when they realize there's a price on their head.

They will process my request within two working days apparently. Should I contact the residence to let them know they've been reported to their local police station? That would probably send them off to DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING.

Ayy, don't give up now. There's sure to be plenty of shoplifting Tumblrinas who are dumb enough to leave in their EXIF data. Hell, you might even find EXIF data in earlier photos of a high-profile target.

I like your idea though.

Coincidentally enough someone at my work just got busted for shoplifting like literally 2 minutes ago and was dragged away in cuffs. I wanna believe they were a tumblrite.

Are there any particular targets that stand out? I mean there has to be one or two with some big ticket items that the police / store owners would care about.

Im travelling just now so cant be sure and wont be able to help untill tomorrow but when you do a tumblr search for 'lifting haul' as well as general posts it recommends five blogs at the top of the page.

One in particular was a tutorial blogs- lifting tips or shoplifters guide or something i forget the exact wording but it was smug as all hell and its posts hads thousands of notes.

That should be our bigfish target- hit that and we'll send a ripple of butthurt through their whole community.l
