Out of all those I really can't help but scratch my head at the one girl who claims that she is no longer a cocaine addict because of shop lifting (assuming that its not a load of bullshit)and that her parents are supportive of her using petty crime as a coping method to stay drug free. Because that is in no way, shape, or form idiotic and straight up insane.

But I really do wish that someday one of those little shits end ups getting caught and is forced to wear I am a thief sign in public as punishment.

I would imagine that it is a load of bullshit, but Tumblrinas have a pretty skewed perspective of things. Exalting shoplifting for getting you off your cocaine addiction is beyond comprehension, and just plain stupid. Let's say the story is true, it'd be interesting to see her shoplift some stuff, sell it, and use the profit to support a cocaine addiction. Congratulations, you just found a way to enjoy shoplifting and cocaine!

As for the idiots shoplifting for fun or to "fight Capitalism," I sincerely hope they face the consequences by any means necessary. Especially if they're spoiled rich Tumblrinas.

I was browsing some of their blogs and found someone whose "haul" included lush products... lush is a company that gives back to many charities, fights animal testing, and promotes recycling and ingredients that are safe for the environment. To hurt a company like that infuriates me. I hope they get caught and rot.

Well, yeah, for all these shoplifters' claims they're doing it to fight oppression or some equally stupid crap, it's clear they don't give a shit about the consequences of their actions. Such as stealing from companies that are actually doing major good or stealing from places that will get people working there fired/cut wages even worse than they are/etc. because of petty thieves. They just want free stuff and don't want to put in the work to get money to buy the stuff instead.

Lush isn't exactly the great company it makes itself out to be. Lush stores often violate labor laws, and at least one (actually, I can think of two campaigns off the top of my head) of their recent promo events was basically just sexually harassing employees (people kissed employee's shirts, along with other stupid shit--and this was company wide, not just at one store).

As always, not defending what lifters do, but Mark Constantine is a piece of shit and Lush is NOT a good company.

When it comes to tumblrinas and their super sparkly, drain clogging bath bombs, they'll defend it to death because "they're the only ones who make it" or "but they donate to charity!". I've tried out their bath bombs (at 5$ a pop, jesus) and they're eh. Nothing special. A bubble bath is more impressive and relazing than sitting in pink colored water full of 'natural' oils and sparkles.
