They have a userbase of some 2500 people, which is far more than most other sites outside of AH.com usually get. I think a better sign of their growth is the fact they now have actual drama. There have been some bans for what you would expect and for trolling, but having checked the site today I have found what might be a lolcow in the side. Some dude called Indicus had all his posts apparently edited to be a single dot by the mods, which made me curious. Having gone into it I found this:

I am gonna bet he didn't even try to talk to the mods, of it he did he was a total retard and when they asked some basic questions he sperged out at his jugaad failing and jumped to a different one. In fact I am almost sure it is that second one, because that is EXACTLY what he does when some random dude goes and says "that doesn't sound like the mods", he flips and starts attacking him.

Dont get me wrong the drama is interesting, but I miss the actual weird time travel alt history shit. Anybody got any good alt crusades pro crusader stories?
 
I read a story on there about "what if Nintendo and Sony did work together on the Sony Playstation?" and its pretty wild and interesting, note to mention less politically inclined than the rest (though I do know one of the authors is banned for probably the usual Alternatehistory.net schenanigans). One notable change is that Chris-Chan is turned into that timeline's "school shooter event", which considering how he'd turned out after 4chan discovered him, feels like a slightly more peaceful end to him than IRL (which also means the KF wouldn't exist in its current form).
