If you're wondering why the shoe-eating groomer is quiet on Twitter, I think the Vicspergs (not the Alphabet Soup Speds; the more "normal" ones) have been shooting him. As much as Shane's low-quality posts can annoy people, I felt this guy was more of a laugh track than someone to legit get mad at. Manjaw is more deserving of mass flagging fueled by assmad and that's only because the pseudo troon's open (albeit mostly ineffectual) TI is legit tiresome.

Not that these idiots actually look things up but people aren't being invited to as many shows any more. Probably because conventions are learning that these people are whiny little bitches who think they're entitled to everything. Comic book creators cost less and bring in more fans. B-List actors cost more, tend to complain less and bring in more fans. Not to mention, they don't have Funimation skits insulting various groups, known casting couches, and endless rape allegations with no proof. It's almost like there's no real money to be made anymore when you bring in anime VA's. They've all shit the bed and think no one notices.

I have never understood what idiots think internet-celebrity cosplayers are worthwhile guests. If you're a convention organizer who invites them, go rethink your life priorities. And if you are actually a moron who pays to see or interact with these people, do everyone (including yourself) a favor and just save your pennies a little bit longer and pay an actual prostitute, or if you don't want to be illegal, hire an escort service. At least then everyone is being honest with themselves. Heck, it's not that expensive (cheaper than an anime convention) to go to a strip club.

Many conventions are $50US just to get in the door. How crazy are expenses in the great white north if you can't get a cheap steak and a lapdance for that?

Depends on where you live. Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are terrible. Quebec though I could get a lap dance and a porterhouse for free. If you want to go to a good strip join, you'll be paying at least $40, that doesn't include a lap dance, or your drinks. That's just getting in.

One "major" convention in the winter wasteland is $60 for a Saturday, The actual major convention is $68 for Saturday. Nothing changes at them unless a guest dies. Every year it's the same vendors with huge markups on items and the same guests. Not to mention the same people in artist alleys.
