why is he so stuck on the fact they got the letter then 4 days later the lawsuit dropped. That doesn't matter you only respond to the letters by doing what they ask or not.

Because Shane is delusional. Its why he's fixated on a tiny portion of statements that were said to be defamatory, and is blowing them up as if it was all of the statements. He argue on the truth of the statements, he can't argue on the law, so he's just pointing to some out of context statements and arguing from absurdity, which is going to get him brownie points with the people that agree with him.

True. Best to keep them separate. The thought of a shoe eating, railroad chasing, chair raping, diaper shitting, child grooming fusion makes a shitty SEARS employee.
