that looks like a printout of the 20 pound tome that ty beard sent to ron toye. also, there's no indication from what I can read that it's a "cease & desist" letter addressed to shame.

Anything Shane says is worthless. He either guesses or just makes shit up, because he doesn't know shit. He's sometimes used as a human toilet to spread disinformation by MoRon and the like.

If KC did talk to their lawyer, though, and told them they breached a contract because some morons threatened them, and now those morons are being sued, but they made it good and decided to obey the law and live up to their contract, the lawyer probably would tell them to turn over any evidence of the tortious interference to the plaintiff and make sure everything's hunky-dory. They're not being sued and won't be sued and have no reason to like the scumbags who fucked over both them and the plaintiff.

None of those are C&D letters, if anything, they are Retraction Letters, which are not the same.

Prior to filing suit for defamation, according to Texas law, you have to send a letter requesting the defamatory content to be removed. If not, if a suit should be filed, you suffer exemplary damages.

Defamation Mitigation Act in 2013. Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code § 73.051-.062

You expect Shane the Moron to know the difference? Ty has said he usually doesn't bother with cease and desist letters. These retraction letters, though, are legally required. They're not just flexing. You can't not do them. So if you do do them, what you're "saying" by it is you're going to be seeking punitive damages.

Shane probably isn't lying about KC's lawyer telling them to give Ty everything they have on Soye and company. KC owes those turds nothing why would any lawyer tell a client to not give up dirt on the people who tried to torpedo their business by walking out?

My suspicion, given the clear pessimism and disdain radiating from KC in those Ron texts, is the KC head asked his lawyer if there was any risk in giving all the shit to Vic and Ty. His lawyer said Fuck No! Hand over everything you’ve got, you owe the Voice Assholes nothing!

Their lawyer likely said they could either turn them over now and get a lot of good will out of it or turn them over later during a discovery phase. They weren't yet legally compelled to turn them over, but they were going to come out sooner or later anyway and I can't imagine them feeling particular obligated to protect Ron after he was one of the people who started this giant shit fit to begin with.
