It's a normal confidentiality order and what's been requested by Ty. It relates only to confidential discovery material such as depositions and other documents, does not relate to filed material, and is more or less the same as the confidentiality agreement filed in Meyer v. Waid (where the defendant requested it).

It would cut slightly into our entertainment but it's Ty requesting it.

What proves civil conspiracy is Ron confirming being friends with the people making the complaints in the investigation, then using said investigation to defame Vic and commit TI with whatever cons he communicated. I know the soy and shoes are a healthy diet for a Holmberg, but are you sure you shouldn't be eating more genuine leather rather than shitty knock-offs @Shane_Yes_That_One?

We know that Casey's endgame was to depose Vic and then do the anti-SLAPP fuckery. For the sake of stopping another 90 days of out of context Vic defamation, Ty's mission was to force this plan to fail.

And where are we now? It's not like the BHBH logo was chosen for it's symbology or anything, right? All the motions, all the quashes, it was tactical toward this goal.

Ty played his hand. Casey's plan failed. So, yes. This was a win for Vic. Ty's endgame came to fruition.

The only wild card is whether BHBH actually wanted the confidentiality agreement or whether requesting it was a tactical move and they were hoping the defence would oppose it. Only BHBH know that for sure.

I think it's a case of both outcomes being in their favor. If they agreed to confidentiality, potentially harmful details about Vic that were not relevant to the case itself would never see the light of the day. If enemy counsel opposed it, it would give Judge Chupp a reason to give the defendants the fish eye on why they were so desperate to avoid deposition, and combined that with the TCPA ruling would give Ty ammo for MAD when they leaked Vic's deposition.
