MoRon's depositions getting released is entirely their choice, I think.Honestly if he thinks the case is a public spectacle now, he's in for a rude awakening if the judge doesn't grant the privacy order. I guarantee that Monica and Ron are going to come out of depositions looking far worse than Vic, and there'll be nothing stopping Ty giving the entire tapes to Nick and letting him do 12 hour streams ripping them to shreds.
Up to now Ty has been working for two choices: protective order for discovery (which means the depositions are sealed unless they're entered as evidence during the trial), or for Vic to be deposed before TCPA (so if MoRon want to use Vic's deposition to defame him more, Ty has the threat of MAD hanging over them).
In this case, sure, all the depositions getting released would probably hurt MoRon far more than they hurt Vic, but it can still hurt Vic. Ty's looking out for Vic's best interest, so I'd assume if he had no reason to release the depositions he wouldn't. He'd keep them as a threat in case MoRon wanted to leak them first.
