If they came forward with actual facts then the big meanies on the interwebs were going to doxxxxxxxxx them. Then they would be harassed and receive death threats. We must protect our precious victims and take them at their word. Why would anyone lie and exaggerate and falsify that? It's not like many accusers were already caught repeatedly doing just that for personal gain and clout within their social group or anything.

Now that the court gets to do it instead of us they are ok with it all coming out, though. Because reasons.
 
Yeah. "Protecting the victims" is weak. They come forward, the accused has every right to confront them, and to confront them publicly.

You do not get to enjoy the benefits of a criminal conviction without paying the price of court.

The victims will be identified. Their stories will be scrutinized. And if, and only if, their stories survive being viciously ripped apart by a cold, uncaring court, will they be accepted as truth.

The victim's feelings are not our concern. If the pursuit of the truth requires those feelings to be crushed underfoot, so be it.

Well, waddaya know. Signed early in the week. Served on Thursday. It's almost like a bunch of people predicted exactly that would happen and it just wasted the court's time.

Shane is projecting all of his failures and insecurities onto Nick, and he's doing a piss poor job of it.
