I can't imagine what a steady diet of shoes does to the brain, but it can't be good.

By any actual legal analysis Casey’s response was unfocused drivel. Shane even realizes this without realizing it. “He specifically went after some very specific points. Some not even in the initial complaint”. This is called “Failure to Answer the Complaint”. This is what is known as very very bad in terms of lawyering. Casey’s task, all he is legally permitted to do is answer the charges in the complaint. Answering things not in the complaint is fucking that up. It’s the fast path to summary judgement.

It was a joke. Shane-kun thinks that the lawsuit is going to be what kills vics career. He thinks that the road to saving that career starts with vic admitting to everything and staying low until he's welcomed back. I said it before, Ill say it again. It didn't work for Spacey. It wouldn't work for vic.
