Well, this may actually be a bit of truth, because when you take out what's going on through Twitter and YouTube, all you have are Tumblr accusations with no real backing and defamatory articles omitting statements and falsifying evidence. With some firms like Funi, yes. I'm aware of the fact that there are some companies which may refuse to hire him as Texas is an at-will state. Even if vindicated, because people as a whole are narcissistic, pessimistic and wanting to believe the worst of people at best, the lawsuit against Funimation will be viewed as a black mark. It absolutely has meaning. It's the same type of thing as when people talk about "cancelling" someone. "KickVic" means exactly the same thing as "cancel Vic"... it's just that "KickVic" is alliterated, so it sounds more catchy.

"Cancelling" someone means making them persona non grata. Deplatforming them. Blacklisting them from their whole industry. They have been tried and convicted of wrongthink, and are relegated to the land of the shadowbanned, along with the rest of the alt-right and the Nazis.
