Probably what happened is back in January Shane was blowing up a phones of conventions about Vic. Cons didn't give a shit about Shane, but they believe Soye and Monica and they drop Vic. But in Shane's mind it's all him. La Choy probably didn't know who Shane is back then.

Was trying to read the rules for hearsay in texas and frankly it got a little confusing. Hearsay is usually not allowed unless it falls under hearsay exemptions. So I was curious if Casey could use any of the internet stuff as hearsay possibly, having it fall under a hearsay exemption. But sounds like @ErbBetaPatch got it
 
I couldn't think of something that qualified more as hearsay than anonymous forum posts and tumblr blogs that have been edited over time.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets deposed at some point or another given all of his statements and other involvement. I doubt he's worth actually suing, but I'd just like to see him hauled before the court if for no other reason than to ask him why he still hasn't paid the $500 he owes from a decade ago or so.

Yea was just thinking if Casey could not find or get any of the posters to testify under oath, he may try that route.

Even Shane has pretty much figured out that Vic is going to win the lawsuit, he's now trying to lay the groundwork to claiming that MoRon somehow come out n top if they can prove some minor incident may have happened. A million dollar plus judgment doesn't matter of course, VIC STILL LOSES!

I view everything Shane says through a Ron lens. Ron has a talking point he wants out there, he tells it to Shane and he'll argue about it endlessly with nobodies on twitter. There are a lot of similarities and parallelisms to the lolsuit with this situation, and Shane is a David Clegg/Mundane Matt character here. It's the classic lie and imply.

About the only thing I see Vic losing is friendship with people who Jon Snow-ed his ass.
