I think Groomer is confused one somethings here.
We know that after Ty made his 'we will be in touch' tweet, he effectively put a time on the case ( as Captain Manning already explained before) so each day that goes by, the less they would believe the plaintiff during the processing portion.
The other issue is, if he didn't do anything for a long enough duration they could file an ethic code on Ty under the guise of intimidation of victims related to Vic (without evidence) potentially making him lose his law degree.

It's hilarious. Just because the defendants will be getting a courtesy email doesn't mean they'll get it on the same day as the suit is filed. Likewise, the documents aren't going to get scanned in by the court today because they were filed just before CoB.

Shane just like being a contrarian because he hasn't gotten this much attention in years and he'll say whatever he thinks will keep people paying attention to him.

No. People change their minds about suing all the time for all sorts of reasons. It's not an ethical issue. They could have left filing right up until the day before it became statute barred and it still wouldn't have been an issue.

Ty explained that their reason for fast-tracking this case is that winning years down the track would effectively leave Vic's career dead in the water.
