Personally, I never really saw the appeal of romanticizing serial killers- especially real ones. People honestly think that the world would be like some Disney movie where 'true love' can change someone like that? Give me a break. In reality, they'd just get themselves slaughtered like anyone else.
Stuff like this isn't just laughable, it can actually be harmful to the families of some victims. Imagine if your daughter was a victim of say, Ted Bundy. You would of course be devastated, but to think that someone believes that he was 'really a nice guy' and expresses love and admiration for him? So many of these edgelords don't stop to think that these people aren't Creepypasta Characters who they can just write into any situation. This is real life, and their actions resulted in the deaths of real people. They desperately need to stop fetishising a violent and murderous group of people, lest they end up the same way.
