Black America has a fatal flaw of wanting folks non blacks to give them a more dominant position in society. It don't work that way. No one gives people outside their group power party unless they using them as a tool to gain influence and plans to throw them away later.

there has been a sense of despair ever since the failure of occupy wall street and the bailouts without accountability towards those responsible for the recession. America currently has a desire to collectively self destruct and I have never seen that before. The lolcow behavior on both sides is a symptom of these urges. Its bizarre but it's happening. In short the America public subconsciously want society to collapse and die. The reasons for this dark mood of the masses is both off topic and far too many to list in this post and thread.

As for blacks? Gotta look at it from a Democratic politicians perspective. Sure they got the numbers but at cost of uniformity. Too many opposing factions exist within their international circus. Got the crossing dressing drag queen story time lgbt vs the Muslims. Got the Hispanics vs the blacks versus the extremely improvised whites. Got the trans versus lesbains.
A party divided is not an easy controlled one. Please one faction then the Democratic leaders risk offending the other. It gotta be a never ending nightmare.

What Democratic politicians want is an uniform voting base. If they have one group which is mostly same race, mostly same culture and values, and care about the same issue then running for election get much easier. Since Hispanics can be imported at rates and numbers democrats desire they won't have to worry about those other inner party factions in the near future.

If the illegal Hispanic population gets high enough then you will see democrats ignoring the needs of (and cease giving protection to ) blacks, lbgt, and other current pets in favor of the their newly imported constituency.

This means extinction for previously favored groups in near future as political support is withdrawn in favor of an ever increasing migrant population who are known to being anti lgbt, anti black and ect. Ect ect.

What is a victim? A person who, through no fault of their own, has been harmed and has no agency about it because it has been denied them.

We tend to focus on the harm, but the "has no agency" part of that definition is important, because the Democrats have been telling black Americans for decades that they have no agency. Don't try to be successful, evil Whitey won't let you succeed. (Oh, and if you see a successful black American, assume they sold out to evil Whitey and aren't "authentically black.") Don't follow the law, evil Whitey will treat you like a criminal no matter what. (Oh, and if you see a clearly guilty black criminal, assume evil Whitey only wants him in jail because of his skin color.) Don't ever leave the Democrat reservation, because we're your only bulwark against an ever-present, crushing tidal wave of white bigotry. It might seem like white people are going about their lives ignoring you, but there's an invisible system of bigoted oppression all around you that only we can detect and combat. Why else aren't black people succeeding at equal rates to whites? Etc.

If you really want to flip a progressives lid you can argue about how whites are the only ones who protect minorities. As in only whites care about the plight of lgbt, blacks, poor, etc and the only way to help these groups is increase the power of white people.

No seriously name one group as liberal and progressive as white people. Name one group in history who shared power with other groups and help others outside their group beside white people. The desegregation of the 1950s and 1960s? wouldn't happen in any other demographic or culture. Non whites often tend be fiercely insular authoritarian and conservative. Only whites give a damn.

If white people die out then the concept and practice of equality, anti authoritarianism and human rights die out with them. It's as simple as that.

It would also tie into how both sides behavior are signs of being in a stressful environment, the manner of how they react and how this affect their politics world view and strategy. I spend a lot of time on /out/ and that attitude is rampant. I feel the same way. For me I feel really disillusioned with everything. Growing up I had a lot of hope that I could escape my family, go to college, get a good job, and have a wife and kids. But the older I've got the more I realize how bad things really are. Nothings went right with my life. I've done everything I was told would make me a successful adult. But I just feel empty. I've just become a depressed nihilist who just wants to be left alone. Most of my friends are going down the same path. The longer we live the more depressing things get.

I have noticed most adults in my life go down one of three paths. Either the doomer path I went down. The peter pan path where they just refuse to grow up and loose themselves in self indulgence all day every day. Or the Boomer path, these people got a job and family but are still fucking miserable. All three have the same thing in common no one knows what to do. Everything is awful everything we've been told is a lie and faceless tech giants/ the government want to know every move you make.

Basically I'm just killing time until its time to kill myself as I have no reason to live and want to escape this nightmare.

There are tons of people who will vote for Trump here. I don't see a lot of them saying "I can't wait until everything is ruined"
