I guess these jobless, gormless parasites don't understand that someone who has a career will fight to keep it. He won't just crawl off and beg for money from strangers on Patreon and spend the rest of his life smoking weed and masturbating to yaoi porn.

I thought the reasoning was mostly financial (though as someone else mentioned, in the current year, especially dealing with defamation, it's good to have a lawyer for PR to let everyone know you mean business.) If Ty comes on the show it lets everyone know that vic means business and their money isn't getting thrown away.

I think that depends on details that may come out in discovery. it's nothing but wishful thinking to believe RT has evidence that corroborates any claims of harassment that could hurt vic. the best case scenario for them is that RT is a victim of misinformation (by the defaming parties) or by intimidation by them (igor?). the worst case is that they're involved in shenanigans of their own by conducting themselves wrongfully in letting vic go (in spite of their rather neutral, public statement) or by other means of intimidation/defamation behind the scenes somewhere.

This is in reference to that video of Vic reciting lines from Ouran High School Host Club with a fan.


According to these people Vic is not allowed to recite lines with fans. Even if they are okay with it and actively say not to use their footage or accounts against him. It's a slippery slope from reciting anime lines to statutory rape. It has to be mental issues, projection, or something. How can these people not realize how insane this sounds.

As an actual Christian I always go with “the Bible is made up of a bunch of books, it starts with Genesis and ends with Revelations, you should read the rest of it. You could also just pickup a King James Version red word Bible and just read the parts in red, Jesus’s words, and maybe have a better understanding.”

They then typically respond with how I either should respond to the one quote or ask why I’m pushing them to read it. For the former I get excited and say I’d love to sit down and read it with them. For the later I say their is another part, somewhere in the back, that says I’m actually supposed to try and get others to read it. The conversation has always ended immediately after both, which is sad.

Note the complete absence of "what the lawyer did or failed to do that you feel is unethical". It's just "here's 450+ pages of shit." The ethics board might've just sent back a response asking for additional info, and believebulma might've used a fake address, so that might be lost in the mail somewhere. Or it's just taking a while. I would assume that if or when they finally just drop the investigation, Nick will get the whole kit and caboodle.

edit: the original tweet's URL is https://twitter.com/believebulma/status/1119307176340873221 but as I said, it's not archived. I went ahead and archived the "Sorry, that page doesn't exist" anyway, so that archive.is at least has the URL in its history.

Don't know where else to post this and I don't want to clog up any other threads.

Kanzenshuu, the Dragon Ball fan site/forum where Geekdom and many other of his toadies hang out, has temporarily stopped accepting new members. This happened a bit after MoRon's responses came out and Marchi dodging service was revealed. Considering how many people have been banned and temporarily banned in the Vic Mignogna thread alone, there is no way this is coincidental. They link to a thread in the announcement where they explain updates to the forum but there is no explanation as to why they aren't accepting members now.

I think it's because they have finally achieved the echo chamber they wanted. For example: Jamie Marchi dodging the process server, criticism to MoRon's response, and Soye's text messages have yet to even be discussed. They are somehow more behind than PULL.
