He just doesn't understand the case and thinks it's about "mean tweets." He then goes into some asinine and ignorant diatribe about how Trump needs to change defamation laws in order to own the libs. Which tells me he's not predicting a win for Vic.

He's as utterly ignorant about the case and what's in it as any PULLack.

It's funny the way he compares litteral rape acusations to people calling him out for flagging. The difference between what happened to vic and what happened to Matt is that everything said about him is actually true.

It's pretty generic lolcow behavior to respond to any situation with some variation of "Hey, this whole thing really reminds me of MEEEEEEEEEEE!"

...what slurs, exactly?

I don't think someone that insists on calling people "garbage" instead of, say, "pieces of shit", and actively stops himself from saying that he hates people that he's about sure were trying to drive someone to suicide could do much more than swear regularly.

I mean, he called Unterkin a cunt and a bitch (as part of his "Malice, bitch!" line), but he was also the drunkest he's ever been since he started Weeb Wars commentary, from what I've heard/watched. Objectively, that's really drunk.

That's also not misogynistic, because the point is that Nick has a distinct ire for Unterkin and her weasel defenses. Again, he thinks that these people have participated in trying to bully someone to their suicide. His insults aren't motivated by misogyny-- they're motivated by borderline hatred of their persons because of their actions.

Also, because this amused me: nobody thinks that Marchi wants Vic's balls (well, I hypothesize that she did in a particular way, at some point in the past, but Vic knew better at that particular moment), but the fact that she demonstrates such unmistakable vitriol adjacent to her accusation means that in the case that her statements were in fact false, she went out of her way to make said false statement for the purpose of defamation.

In other words: "Malice, bitch."

Nicky Rackets is PG-13 at worst. He literally doesn't even curse. Also he's a loving father of 5 with a wife who obviously loves him enough to crank out 5 fucking kids holy shit. So I doubt he's a misogynist either. Dunno, guess this is the typical "everyone to the right of black, trans, disabled Marx is a literal fucking Nazi."

I must confess that I sometimes get worried seeing The Beard on stream, especially when he gets carried away when Nick starts ranting and goes on a tirade of his own, saying Soye is a moron, stupid or whatever. Let me clarify that I don't think he's doing anything wrong or immoral by it, it's just that this is a case where so many SJWs are involved and any slip up could result in a major Twitter hate train over the tiniest thing The Beard is just inviting them to find something to get angry about.

Of course it's very cathartic to see a Texas lawyer from an older generation, and a 40k veteran at that,, go on an angry rant about how Roye and Monica are the lowest of people and that he promised Vic's mom to make things right. Not to mention openly thanking Kiwi Farms and saying our "weaponized autism" has been a great asset. Man, I'll even go there and say it's outright epic - it really is, and I love watching it... it's just that, in his position, for Vic's sake, I would resign myself to work behind the curtains and make sure not to give the opposing side any ammunition to eventually shoot me with.

Having said that, there are 2 good reasons to go on Nick's streams too, besides the spectacular fan service: first, Nick did raise all that money for Vic and the least Vic can do is allow his lawyer to go on stream as a a show of gratitude (and hopefully raise more money towards that $200k goal). Secondly, it might actually be a legitimate strategy to get morons like Soye to chimp out and REEEE even more - and in turn get ammunition to shoot them with in future incoming lawsuits. The Twitter people are so exceptional I wouldn't be surprised this results in more free discovery that they would never get otherwise.

Ty has chosen exactly the right venue - exactly the same one in which this blew up. If it had blown up in the MSM, then that's where he'd be making his "mah client" speeches. Ty being invisible would not benefit Vic at this point. Social media harpies need constant reminders that if they get out of line they could be next.

It's time to quit caring what makes SJWs angry, and start doing what makes them suffer.

Nick kind of touched on this. In an age of instant gratification millennials, where defamation can spread at lightspeed because of the pervasiveness of social media, you don't want the 60-year-old lawyer doing things quietly, politely, and slowly. During that time your reputation gets slaughtered on social media and you end up with a Pyrrhic victory if you win your suit.

In this period you want your lawyer to be loud, visible, brutal, and fast. A defamation case in this day and age is half in court, half in the twitterverse.

A phrase I often see bandied about in the tactical world that would apply here is "violence of action". Which means "the unrestricted use of speed, strength, surprise, and aggression to achieve total dominance against your enemy. "

If you look at Ty's actions in the legal sphere, you see the legal equivalent of violence of action.

You could write a full on text book about this case.

More hot takes from resetera. I wonder what their take on the new lawsuit will be.

This is the other reason I think the BHBH logo is based on the Black Horse Regiment insignia. While deployed to Vietnam, the 11th ACR embodied violence of action before it was a buzzword. Almost as fitting, the 11th currently serves as OPFOR at the National Training Center.

That's some stunning ignorance in both posts.

In the first one, lol no, there will be costs that will have to be paid, and GFM will be pissed if they were party to a scam. Ty and Nick are LAWYERS, one of which is actually representing Vic in a legal battle, and they will not want to taint their reputations nor the case by playing dirty with the funds, that would be dicking over the people who donated in Vic's name, and Vic would be pissed if his own lawyer screwed him over, and it would be impossible to conceal such a screwjob given all the eyes on this shit in a legal sense.

As for the second, wrong again. It's a principle of law that one must be able to face their accuser in court, and that goes both ways. Certain information may be redacted in public records if there is a proper finding that such would be warranted, but that would require special circumstances as determined by the presiding judge at the request of counsel.

In the case of certain crimes like child pornography cases or rape victims, certain information is nigh automatically redacted for the purposes of protecting the victims, but only after such information have been evaluated by the court itself, then when the public record is drawn up, the public version (not the version for law enforcement, which is always unredacted), that version will have the redactions of sensitive information, and not before.

I am not a lawyer, this is merely what I discovered looking it up, and if anyone with more legal knowledge can correct me on anything I got wrong, please do so.

No, dumbfuck, the Constitution protects public legal proceedings. It does not protect the right to slander some guy without repercussions and then have your name kept secret. All this shit is coming out. Everyone will be thoroughly doxed and thrown in the Sarlacc pit.

And if Ty wins then resetera, PULL and /snow/ will ree endlessly about the justice system and probably accuse the judge of being corrupt to boot.
