Sorry to ask here but does anyone know where that podcast episode is that interviewed Marquis (Lamarcus) and one of the moms whose kid killed himself supposedly because of SS? I believe I heard it a couple years ago but no matter how many google searches, I can't seem to find it anymore

Edit: never mind found it, so odd how they dont name any of the guests in the description at all...at least not Marquis/LaMarcus or name drop Sanctioned Suicide which would inherently make finding the episode so much easier

I mean I doubt it. They 100% do that sort of shit and are already using this site to push for that. But they also routinely ban things as an attempt to look better. Every politician is looking for something they can stick on their list of amazing things they did, they'd try to ban something and then go on a press tour about how they 'banned a drug used by sadists to get people to kill themselves' or some shit like that. It's the same type of shit with the knife bans, they want headlines like 'we removed 20,000 illegal knives from the streets' because it makes retards think they are doing something despite constantly rising knife crime rates. They would ban a random pickling salt and then say that they 'saved 10,000 people from suicide' or something like that while they continue to destroy the NHS.

I'm under no delusion that the government gives a shit. I'm just saying that they ban these sorts of things to appear to be doing something, they would ban random chemicals to appeal to the retarded facebook mothers who don't actually read or think about things. Trust me this is classic English politician rhetoric. Of course they want to restrict and monitor people, but they also want to have these pr stunts.

It is only a matter of time until a parent uses MAID to deal with a child they have grown tired of. I am not joking. It is the logical consequence of this trajectory.

1, Maid is a valid medical procedure.
2, Children (and retards, and other people declared unable to make decisions for themselves) can not consent to or against medical procedures.
3, If a parent decides a child needs a medical procedure, like cancer surgery, it doesn't matter if the child wants it or not. The only thing that matters is what the parent decides.
4, Do not ever give someone "power of attorney" in canada.

I have a fair amount of this stuff. You mix it with salt for curing meat, or you can buy it premixed, usually labeled either curing salt or Prague Powder #1. It's good for making jerky.

It's gotten annoyingly difficult to buy in an unadulterated form if you need that for color fixing or corrosion treatment or some other mundane use.

Presumably because of law enforcement going after sellers, who have absolutely no meaningful connection with people intentionally misusing it, just to give the appearance they're responding to demands to Do Something.

So long as I can still get Prague Powder (the pink stuff) I don't mind. I really have no use for the stuff other than curing. It still sucks for anyone who has a use for it in some other kind of home chemistry.

Carrie Goldberg (who deserves her own thread on KF) has filed lawsuit after lawsuit against Amazon for selling SN, most of which have been tossed at both the state and federal level, but she's appealed one of the state-level rulings all the way to the Washington Supreme Court.

For Amazon, biglaw fees are a rounding error. For any small business it's just better to avoid the litigation risk entirely.
