I was looking at some Twitter accounts adjacent to a self-harm person from the Beauty Parlor thread and ended up hearing about someone on SS who supposedly just killed themselves via sepsis. She had attempted to kill herself through various methods in the past that never stuck.

Edit: Something happened to the first image so I had to go back and regrab a screenshot. In that amount of time, her account was deleted. No idea if that means she deleted it or staff did.

That was the last time she posted. Seems like she was a regular poster there and I assume she either died or is unconscious/maybe in a hospital if someone found her. Hope the cat gets taken care of. I saw someone say this, so hopefully.

This user was also the person who posted a sticky thread about which methods not to use. She must have really wanted to die if she'd be willing to go this route. RIP.

Well now I can’t stop wondering what this commonly accessible bacteria that people use everyday is that can kill you when applied intravenously. Way to end on a cliffhanger.

It’s the more sensational spin on the website that it encourages suicide rather than for what it really is.

I watched a bit of it and a LOT of it is Tom’s personal opinions which is not how a documentary should be narrated. The part I seen he basically says “while it doesn’t encourage suicide, it celebrates when a user does it, saying they are at peace now”, trying to conflate those two things when they are not the same at all. He also says some of the people who have died or who use the website are minors even though the rules say 18 or older and then uses discord as a good example of a platform that properly vets minors. You mean discord, the platform infamous for being used by predators to seek out children, used by 764 psychos to have kids send them nudes and blackmail them, that discord? What a dumbass, kids are always going to circumvent age restrictions on websites or platforms unless they do something like ask for government IDs, in which case all anonymity is gone.

I only found out about this website 2-3 days ago (looking at the fake Tumbler Ridge shooter’s twitter account, one of the followed accounts was this account with this pinned post, looked up who Lamarcus Smalls was and then found it) and already I have a better idea of what this website is than Turkey Tom and his research team.

All of them. Sepsis isn't anything special like anthrax or botulism it's just a massive infection of anything that fucks you up. It could theoretically just be from the common cold if you injected yourself with enough of it. I don't think there's many things you can inject into your blood straight and not get sepsis from.

Thank you OP for providing a starter pack with a few instructional manuals helpfully detailing various methods of suicide. Bookmarking just in case I need this in the near future. I've already decided and made peace with the fact I'm going to rope if my life doesn't drastically change for the better by the end of this year and if I don't manage to secure the necessary relationships and opportunities to escape the complete Hell my life has become lately. I don't think that's unreasonable of me, I'm literally just leaving suicide as a last resort if all other options have been completely exhausted.

I actually am cautiously optimistic about my life changing for the better, but it's always good to have a backup plan.

The government here are perfectly happy to push ‘assisted dying’ laws and have loosened the abortion laws, and they have generally conspired to make the UK a complete hellscape. They do not care one whit about people killing themselves, they’re actively encouraging it.
Suicidal people caught in the act of trying to hang themselves don’t even get sectioned these days, the mental health system is on its knees. They get a police cell, a quick doc visit to make sure they’re not actively dying, and taken home and perhaps if the family nag for a week they get a disinterested social worker pop by. The idea that the UK government is concerned about the nasty suicide website is hilarious.
All this is about is control of the internet, removal of anonymity and control of what information can be disseminated online.
Sodium nitrate remains a stupid way to kill yourself
