I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fanbase circle the wagons like the RWBY fanbase does. View attachment 1241881

All I read are pure lunacy spouting from a RWBY-defender giving surface-level face-value counter-argument that did little to address the criticism.

It really shows the level of understanding these people in the fandom has in general when many have probably moved on to other better shows.

Shane’s letter: the cloud that hangs over this show alongside Monty’s untimely death.

Wow, the RWBY Tards are on fire with this shit.

>We never even see much of Mistral or anything involving the fact that there’s a wide class division of the Rich / Poor, and nevermind us barely getting a feel of this nation which is dubbed as having racial tensions inside of it;but nothing is ever shown...Doesn’t help that RNJR spends their time in that godforsaken house blasting farts while Qrow asks about the local Hunters of Mistral, but even then it doesn’t give us much.

>Silver Eyes are honestly a big letdown (Outclassed only by the Maidens), and the time wasted of their importance was tedious but still not as bad as the aforementioned Maidens. Who’s to not say that Ozpin couldn’t at least tell Ruby the importance of her eyes? He more than likely couldn’t train her, but he sure as hell coulda told this girl that more about the Silver Eyed Warriors.

>Miles and Kerry making promises before staving shit off for the next Volume is extremely lazy, along with it not helping their own case in the slightest bit. You wanna know why people are so critical of the CRWBY? Because of shit like making promises that get cliffhangered into the next Volume, while they keep doing the same thing that got them backlash so bad back in Volume 5 when even Tommy Unicorn was critical of them before he became a full-time cocksucker.

>Salem is a somewhat boring villain, because all she really boils down to is a Immortal Karen that didn’t like the idea of her ex-husband taking their kids away from her that she killed them in her fight against Oz. We haven’t even gotten into her backstory before becoming Karen, where she leads an absolutely fucking worthless fight against two Gods because she got punished for trying to play them like chumps and expected to get away with it? Salem got everyone genocided, because she couldn’t pull a An Hero and join Ozma in the afterlife once he died.

>Tyrian and Watts were arguably the only semi-decent bright spot in Volume 7, but the Heroes dropping many brain cells to lead the audience and themselves into said shitstorm doesn’t make them (Tyrian and Watts) geniuses or anything of the sort.

It's just damage control for Miles shooting his mouth off.

Yang by every criteria is just as slutty as remake Tifa. Let alone Cinder, that rabbit Ace-Op who wears what's more or less booty shorts (with dev notes even calling her legs thicc), etc. He'd have a better case if he used her OG design (where she's not wearing shorts under her skirt and doesn't have a sports bra on).

This Tifa thing isn’t going away anytime soon.

Miles will very likely just shrug it off like it never happened as he always did years ago when criticisms got blown too hot up his ass.

He's always been a defensive little shit ever since V4 days.

This is all you need to know on what type of people he'll stick with.

By his logic, if you're not in the same industry as he is in, you have no right to talk to him and even if he agrees with you, he won't listen because you're being a meanie poo who won't shine his boots or sugarcoat your words to soften the blow of criticism just to tend to his ego.

You know, I like to think that Miles and the RWBY team stealthily come by here, and they get pissed off reading our criticisms.
Calling Tifa is a prostitue, meanwhile in RWBY show, female characters wearing skimpy outfits:

And finally Carmine Esclados from their RWBY Amity Arena game, I sure hope Miles Luna hasn't forgotten about her.

What else? Oh right, I wonder if Miles Luna also calls Jessica Nigri a prostitue based on her job?

Apparently, 16th or 17th April is National Horny Day, so I think it's fine if Miles wants to be honest with his sexual desire.

Edit 2: Since I can't find any archive of Miles Luna "joking" tweet, but there is an archive of his apology.

The tweet from Jess Cogswell in that image, probably the one helps spreading how "progressive" Miles Luna is. Although, her later tweets are quite questionable.

There is nothing that makes Remake Tifa's design worse here than Yang's or Blake's or Cinder's.

Yang and Co.'s designs were all made when Monty was still alive to be about as "sexy" as Remake Tifa's. Cinder fights in damn high heels. Any defense you will make for them is just more RWBYfag yapping.

Tifa within the original doesn't behave anymore "sexy" than Aerith does outside of her victory pose. She's not shown trying to seduce men when not needed for a mission, only shows serious interest in Cloud. Aerith was the one acting "sexy."
Final Fantasy VII has the time honored distinction of being the JRPG that not only helped format video games as a medium of art, but helped to establish and pave the way for an interest in anime out west.

RWBY is like My Life Me.

Hey Miles, if you're reading this, get this through your thick hubris filled skull.
I'm glad western made anime has many hurdles to go through. This guy being one of them.
I don't think this is a response to anything I said but maybe I just don't get it. I said Tifa sticks out like a sore thumb in Midgar, which Miles said. While in RWBY everyone dresses like an anime fashion disaster and is definitely designed with sex appeal in mind, but they all are so it just runs together. It's hard to single out any one character as the "sex appeal" girl except maybe Yang, who is based off of Tifa, but even then that is hard to do when she's an amputee now.

You can say Cloud and Barrett stand out too, there's a semblence of utility to their designs, but nobody would argue with me if I said they're trying to "look cool" rather than practical. In fact FF7 was the beginning of a design-focused emphasis for the series. Cloud, Barrett, Vincent look "cool", Tifa and I guess Yuffie are trying to look sexy/cute, Aeris looks like a knock-off Disney Princess.

And I even said Tifa doesn't behave sexually empowered, hence why it was reductive to just call her a prostitute, which is why I laughed that Yang is apparently based on her. The only thing Yang has in common is a fisticuff fighting style and boobs. For many people that is what Tifa is. And she is often depicted as sexually confident by fans because of these elements mattering more to them than her actual character does.

My pojnt was never "Miles is right" and more that "aggrieved fans don't like to look in the mirror."
I'm not going to lie either, modern FF apparently deliberately invokes highly contrasting character design to make the main cast stand out from the rest of the world, and apparently for budget problems. Even FFXV had this lazy sort of costume design going for it. The original FFVII had far more tough and rough urbanwear to rural country to help establish the modernequse nature of Midgar and the apparent divide of city and country.

Miles and cast however should not compare and boast about RWBY's character design. Everyone wears too "modernesque" clothing that tries to appease "normal tastes", or it's so midway that it looks like cheap plastic. The women especially get a strike, because you can't just put every girl in skimpy bodylining skin expose cut apparel. They can't even get functionality right. I've always hated Yang's design, because it looks so bulky, layered, and exhaustion inducing. That's the last sort of thing you would ever want for your agility and accuracy geared hands on martial artist. Maybe that's why Miles doesn't like Tifa's design.

Someone on 4chan made an argument on why RWBY is a huge success. Specially in Japan. Thoughts?
4chan usually makes bait to rage and hate at. 10/10

He should learn the value of the quote "Watch your words, lest they reveal your destruction". Something just might come along and destroy him and RWBY and Rooster Teeth if he's playing the competition game and doesn't drop the fat from his head.

I was on Discord and I found this from the companion book, probably the closest thing one could find to the line “the Faunus exist because Monty wanted a cat girl”:

also, in day “I don’t fucking know” of this Tifa fallout: some RWBY fan demanded to see documented proof that established that Monty based Yang Xiao Long off Tifa Lockhart.

All of that backstory is just throwing in shieet for a cheap attempt to appease complaints (in this case, complaining about how we never see societal cruelty directed at faunus to make the WF's following and sympathy despite their antics work well).

How did humans "confine" the faunus to Menagerie? How can Blake, the daughter of a key member of the White Fang, be able to casually go around Beacon academy and have her surname (BELLADONNA) be shown in a competition without fear of getting locked up for ties to terrorism or used as a bargaining chip with Ghira? How did the Ace-Ops let faunus in? I don't know.

And they're foolish if they think that showing that humans are not getting along regardless of the Grimm means the show should have a Furry Civil Rights Movement subplot. RWBY as a team doesn't have much stake in fixing racism against furries. Only Blake with Weiss could be said to have any notable political ties and RWBY's on paper activities as a team don't lead to them fixing it.
