Iunno, we never get to see Penny Hiccup when she lies.... That would have been one of the major things that would make Ruby believe she was innocent.... Also, Rivas is kind of inconsistent in himself so Iunno if him leading would be good aside from more Robyn wanking.Fingers crossed it'll be good. But really, some consistency on narrative and lore-keeping would be better than nothing.

Miles and Kerry couldn’t even answer a basic fucking question about how Jaune acquired his dead not-girlfriend’s shit, so yeah there’s that “better writing” right there lol.
Trying to fix RWBY's writing after seven seasons is like trying to save Hisashi Ouchi in his final days of suffering. To unfuck RWBY you'd have to either nuke the entire thing and start all over again, or finally put RWBY out of its misery and start a spiritual successor series.Fingers crossed it'll be good. -The Faunus? Scrap them and just make Blake and Adam (the only faunus who really matter) humans from different cultures than Ruby and Co. The faunus are a shining of what I deem "fantasy race bloat" where non-humans either have no real differences from humans or the writers have no idea how to handle them within the narrative.
Maybe late, but I'm thinking this is where Monty was going.Holy Autistic Hot Take, Batman!
Adam doesn’t need to be tied to three members of RWBY, but there will always forever be a missed opportunity to not tie Weiss in with Blake;Ever since Volume 2 when the girls shared an emotional moment, Weiss talked about how her family’s company started by her Grampy went down the shitter in terms of reputation and their company notably for having Worker Rights for Faunus being abysmal as fuck, leading Weiss to strive in correcting what her father had done.
Hell, we can go further back to Volume 1 when Weiss reveals why she’s prejudice and distrustful of Faunus.
Why in God’s Green Earth would it not be interesting to see Adam confront the (Former) heiress of the company that not only branded him like an animal? This would be further development between Blake and Weiss, showing how far they’ve come from the start opposed to the forced bullshit Weiss has gotten such as the “Obligatory Not White Guilt” in Volume 7 in the mines, or her putting a drunk racist in a dumpster.
Well it only took that clown an entire day after everyone had already moved on from memeing this to sweep in like a slighly less mordibly obese Umbrella Guy.And now, here comes Hero Hei with his take to the masses. https://youtube.com/watch?v=RUezIbUGblM

There's nothing wrong with "fixing RWBY" if that's your idea of fun for a fanfic project. But if you expect some reward beyond "fun" and maybe some nice comments, you will be disappointed.
If you are talented enough to fix RWBY you are talented enough to do your own thing.
I completely forgot that Ruby doesn't even talk to her sister about the missing arm....wait that's because they don't talk about anything ever.Maybe late, but I'm thinking this is where Monty was going.
But you can't do that! It runs the risk of painting Adam as deeper than "muh soggyknee incel" strawman.
The backstory is all there, it practically writes itself! They could even keep the part where Adam fucks up Yang to prop him up as a personal threat, giving Yang an obstacle to overcome and tying Adam as an enemy to Team RWBY in general and any combination of the girls in particular, given his history with both Blake and Weiss and Ruby should care that fucking faggot lopped her sister's arm off!!
But nooo, you can't have an interesting, menacing, recurring antagonist that isn't the Black Hole of Charisma that is Nigri nor her ability to somehow turn everyone in the same zip code into a moron.
If they show didn't explicitly make it clear in season 1, you'd never know they were sisters.I completely forgot that Ruby doesn't even talk to her sister about the missing arm....wait that's because they don't talk about anything ever.
