Polygon Pictures would be the most realistic option in this scenario. Not only are they more than familiar with American properties (TRON, Transformers and Star Wars to name a few) but they're also working on RT's TF series as previously mentioned.

RT giving the studio RWBY to animate would certainly be a leg up animation-wise. All that'd remain would be to kick M&K off the lead production team and get someone who can do a good job.

It's Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) by Orange studio, they have Beaststars as their current CGI anime for this season. But as you know Japanese anime studios, they mostly do adaptation and rarely do original project. In this case, even if you give RWBY to the studio, the show is still plagued with horrible writing from original writers.

The other anime studio I know usually do 3D/CGI is Polygon Pictures, they did Ajin and Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia).

Edit: Add example of using UE3 for Guilty Gear, noted times.
Around 0:05-0:08, walking animation isn't great. And the fight starts at 4:58, it looks quite "skippy" and not smooth.

Consideirng how GG only keeps getting better after each game I wouldn't be surprised if the new one looks consistently good instead of "only animated for realz during the fighting" good. The thing is ArcSys makes games, not anime or cartoon shows so giving the property to them is strange at best and ??? at worst. Even more so when ArcSys tends to have certain teams handle X or Y projects so you can't really apply the quality you see in DBFZ or Granblue to ArcSys projects as a whole.

The thing about Arc System Works getting the IP for RWBY is that they’d reboot it as a fighting game, according to people I talk to. The thinking is that RWBY lends itself to a fighting game really well.

TBH, I'm not sure if you could find a Japanese studio that I'd trust with the IP. 3D anim is not something you see much of coming out of Japan, in my experience.

They could just go 2d. I mean the only reason RWBY is 3d, as far as I know, was just so they could have an easier time animating.

I don't know much about animation, but I'm pretty sure 3d was the only way Monty could possibly solo animate fight scenes all on his own. With frame by frame animation, and with the scrap resources RT gave him at the time, there's no way he could've achieved the same results in 2d in time.

The show is just trying to be an anime anyway, if they had the budget, I don't see why it couldnt' work.

While I do like the thought of a RWBY fighting game by ArcSys, the dream game for RWBY would be a stylish-action game from Platinum or the team behind the Devil May Cry games. And for anime reboot, that Houseki team for 3D, Bone Studio, Toei, or the Demon Slayer team for 2D with KyoAni and Trigger as the dream teams.

So there's a response to the fanweapon design thing from the head of RT's licensing department Now it is good that they did give credit to the artist who made the weapon and have changed the digital release of the comic and the physical release, but I am skeptical in that this was a mistake (of the artist or RT) though I can partially believe that someone was looking up some reference of a starter pistol and just slapped on a blade to the top of it.
Thoughts?

Whelp the pornbots have taken over. Back when I frequented the RT forums their was a serious problem with bots posting spam... Then My notifications feed got flooded by friend requests with accounts profile pictures of attractive women. Seems the problem has only gotten worse

Blatantly plagiarizing fanwork is indeed within the scope of incompetent and creatively bankrupt writers. I might be mixing up things, but wasn't the script of one of the newer Star Wars abominations alleged to be a blatant plagiarism of a fanfiction? If these allegations are true, then I don't see a reason why, at least in theory, Rooster Teeth would be above such Homer sexual deviancy.

Oh please, Adam was ruined the instant Blake one-shot him at the end of V5. What a complete tragedy, wasting a character for nothing.

I couldn't agree more. One can only dream what, if handled by a decent writer, kind of an interesting relationship Adam and Blake would have had. Personally, I would have done something similar to Metal Gear Solid 3 with Adam playing the role of The Boss and Blake of Naked Snake/Big Boss.

Alternatively, if they are dead set on Bumblebee fanservice, they should have made Adam not just an incel, but a fedora wearing Supreme Gentleman, making it his mission to take vengeance on the Yangs for fucking all the Blakes and Stacys.
