Where the hell did Miles learn how to write
Bold of you to assume he ever did
From what I've seen of fans and talking to my friends, the consensus seems to be that if Penny comes back, it'll be as a generic military bot with no memory of Ruby and her friends. Personally, I'm hoping we see Penny get hacked by the villains so she's forced to be their personal death slave, forcing Ruby to learn to mercy kill by destroying everything having to do with The Penny Project. Sure, it may be too complicated and morbid for this show, but I just think it's cool potential and a logical way to address Penny being a robot.

Also, who doesn't love psychopathic robots? You could get some at least decent action out of that.
That's a bit too edgy imo. I mean that's not out of line with the violent nihilism of Volume 3 but that's not a good direction to go in if you ask me. Bringing Penny back only to make her OOC and forcing Ruby to kill her is too far into grimdark territory. I would suggest bringing Penny back and possibly having her memory wiped by the Atlas Council so she's a more compliant test subject, but then in keeping with the fact that she's got a soul it doesn't stick and she breaks free from the reprogramming. The drama could be Ruby trying to help Penny get free of the control of the Atlas Council, whether that be fighting them and/or convincing them to let Penny free. This would also give Ironwood something to do. It would build on the idea of her being enough of her own person to deserve being treated as a human instead of as property and would also play a bit into the story of Pinocchio with her being "a real girl".

Fair enough. I may have gone too far. But still, the idea of the villains trying to hack her to make her their slave/go Full Skynet against her will was mostly me trying to get them to address them having a robot for high clearance stuff and still address the soul things. And the “Ruby mercy kill” thing was me trying to have Penny not having memories be more than Ruby/Penny ship bait/feels as well as a bit from people saying Ruby was too happy go lucky considering what she’s been through.

But. If we get no info on The Penny Project/why Penny was made the way she was, this show will have officially hit “our expectations were low, but HOLY FUCK” territory.

I think we're already way past that point. At this point I'm just consistently "My expectations were low but I'm still disappointed".

The villains trying to hack Penny is something I can see happening but that's something I'd like the protagonists be able to save her from it. And honestly after Ruby wasn't phased by witnessing multiple people dying in front of her and seeing horrible things I don't think the literal apocalypse could manage to leave an impression on her.

If Ruby was raped by Grimm while being forced to see her friends torn to pieces in graphic detail before her eyes it wouldnt even phase her

Here's a wild prediction for V7: It will be revealed that Qrow is a sexual predator and he will be killed by a heroic character voiced by Monica Rial: oh and their will also be a cheap jab at Nick Rekieta thrown in

I never liked, let alone saw the appeal of this BS when one is better off watching REAL anime instead, honestly. The only thing interesting / entertaining about this BS is the drama surrounding it and how hilarious it is trying to see people defend this mess, as well. And even then... You could still be watching REAL anime, if that's your fancy, instead of this cheap BS.

Nah. Here’s the thing Miles and Kerry understand: at some point, common sense has to win out.

Well, for me it's all started when my friend recommended it to me, so I'm here just for the "shit show" til the end. It's fun seeing fandom opinions talking about what goes wrong, wasted potential, pandering, using "progressive" ideas to defend certain narrative, shipping and so on. But mostly introducing to me how much of exceptional fandom and creators can be. Beside, without knowing about this show, I would not have really paid any attention to Vic Mignogna drama from January on r/anime, I probably just loosely pay attention to it, reading "news" and actually thinking he's a bad guy. Instead, I stumbled on this site (seeing Mignogna thread started from Multimedia, then into Community Watch and became a whole sub forum) and gave me an eye-opening to quite many things.

So quick question: if RT actually goes tits up, what happens to the shows that're currently being made at the Tits-upping time?

The only entertainment anyone should get from RWBY is laughing at the terrible everything, like the inability to animate people walking...because they keep standing in the same place despite the walk cycle. Which is in one of the openings.

I've been finding myself doing that some, but mostly it's just ,y and my friends shaking our heads at the wasted potential and the idiocy of the hardcore fans completely missing the points we make.

The hardcore RT fans are the Jehovah's witnesses of fanbases, don't bother.
Eh, honesly I'm left wondering now if sometimes they're intentionally missing points people make because they're "haters". Like anything involving Adam.

edit: have a meme I found on Discord.
