You're right and while even this portfolio thing is all over the place. Roy desires wealth and more so the fame that comes with it. He's tried opening a hedge fund, selling websites become a portfolio manager, run a portfolio company and be CEO of Tesla. This guy is really childish like after you have an assembly in grade school and you want to be a fire fighter because 7 year olds love bright red trucks then next week the manager of the shop right comes in and you're sure a deli is your life goal and then because you did great at wiffle ball you're the next Babe Ruth.
No shame in anyone stable or children having many dreams. I oft joke that I've moved slots in my over a decade in the field but this is just holding me over till my real job of being a pornstar fighter pilot spy takes off, in my off time I do play short stop too for the Phillies.
The thing is while the financial services field has so many jobs and yes it's possible to move around (I'm living proof) it's frankly not always best for career and rarely is it the most profitable way to do it.
Frankly making good to me money is a big plus but I always have enjoyed what I've done been ethical and learned.
Roy seems to be really caught up on buzz words. Not to toot my own horn but a few pages back mentioned portfolio managers aren't the biggest deal and no disrespect towards them but they aren't they rock stars of the industry. Roy's no longer wanting to do that and wants to run his own now.
I shouldn't have to expand what all is needed for this stupid venture but it's out of his reach because he's Roy.
You're right Roy has no problem shitting on and using those "privileged" yet not many of us can afford to be nearly half a century old and choose to not work because "it's not what I want" not all of us love or hate our jobs no matter what we do. But we need em we need income.
Roy has dreams that are just not realistic for many reasons and because of that he gets to laze about and not work living off his brother. Bro basso won't let me spend next 20 on his couch till I get my formula 1 driver gig. I'd dare say someone like Roy is quite privileged to not have to work so he can spend all day doing what ever he does because it's not like he's learning or trying to better himself. He's getting more unhinged and I do enjoy this new criminal arc.
Lastly, I peeked Roy hasn't tweeted in a bit you'd think his man crush / mortal enemy Elon buying twitter would be something he spergs about.
They did just have a CEO who was a retarded Indian, so Roy maybe your calling is twitter not Tesla.
