And you’re getting off on women’s suffering? So
of course women laugh at your pain! The opposite of your pain, your joy, consists of
cheating them out of sporting leagues and sororities and human rights violations in what should be female-only prisons. If his pleasure is their pain, then why would they not relish his suffering? This is a basic conflict of interest, and one rooted in the material reality of sex. The more he pushes and rants and loses his temper, the more he emphasizes this fact.
But therein lies the rub, right? A genuinely gentle and effeminate male wouldn’t act like this. He’s be so anxious about offending women that he would not define his interests in opposition to theirs. He’d stay out of the way - use the disabled or single occupant bathrooms if the gender dysphoria hit too hand - but he would never barge right in. Such an effete personality would have empathy for women, an understanding of how he appears to others, and an unwillingness for confrontation. But he’s obviously not effeminate. No one thinks he’s a woman, but even amongst men he is acting quite “masculine” (male typical) in the most mediocre and mundane sense of the word.
As others have pointed out, he’s affecting feminine traits. He clearly has done some “voice training” and now uses the same asthmatic bird-of-paradise gay-sounding whisper that they all adopt. He avoids yelling - probably because “voice training” doesn’t change your voice but how you use it. And yet, he’s still so male. It’s not the five o’ clock shadow… it’s the pushiness, aggression, the lack of compassion while pursuing a singular goal and inability to compromise.
If he had empathy he would get that many of Rowlings concerns are extremely reasonable. Or, if he was an ethically minded sperg, he would actually hear these concerns out. James Sterling used “concerns” as a way to belittle TERFs, but the TERFs using that word are being
acquiescent. If the TERFs were speaking
their truth, they would say that this moid is the peak of toxic masculinity and that crossdressing should be illegal and he should be on a sex offender’s registry. But because these are
women, they can’t go for the jugular, and so they use language like “concerns” and “learn to live with one another”. He doesn’t get this because his macho competitiveness and lack of theory of mind. He rejects this olive branch and says it’s all or nothing.
Returning to Jim Sterling, when the Grand Sneeder Null reviewed Sterling’s RDS special, he pointed out how bullheaded Sterling was being. Sterling wasn’t yelling at “the transphobes”, he was berating the allies who didn’t boycott
Hogwarts Legacy. He was screeching at members of his own team because they weren’t going harder for him for free. Null explained that Sterling’s all-or-nothing approach only engenders anger, contempt, and abandonment. And he was right.
If someone tries to be nice / reasonable / civil / cooperate / diplomatic / accommodating out of genuine desire to be adult…. And you spit in their face…. You’re just gonna make them say, “well, fuck you, the offer’s off the table.” It doesn’t matter if it’s Pronoun Appreciators who play a video game or lady activists. You’re making the former feel like appeasing you is impossible, and you’re taking the latter off their leash. If he thinks Knightly gingerly saying “oh whoops lol uh sorry lol” is bad, then what’s he gonna do when she uses her celebrity spotlight to highlight his beard-shadow and calls him a disgusting perverted man who should kill himself? Because that’s what happens when you’re too fucking male-brained and autistic to recognize when someone is being
merciful to you.
