None of them have outright said that's why they call her that, it just seems like a clear connection to me.

I think you are right, I just never made this connection. It definitely fits well with the way I've seen them act, as if her pen name is a "preferred name", and with their claim that the fact that she used a male name as her pen name is an indication that Rowling is really a trans man deep inside and in fact suffers internalised transphobia, and that's why she hates trans people so much

Meanwhile, I go to a HP store and all I'm finding is HP stuff.

There is a small one at my city too next to my bus stop. It's never full but there is always 2 or 3 clients in it and the lady shop is very nice. Also it's quiet so I go in when it's raining.
