The troon is Charles "Charlotte" Clymer and he has a thread here. I've never gone through it myself, but you might find context there.
Professional trust fund "activist" who has been jumping between consultancy sinecures in left wing media and institutions for the best part of a decade now. Started out as a textbook "male feminist" but eventually wound up getting a bunch of heat for being an abusive creep to women....big shock there I know....and so he rebranded to gay. He then got a bunch more heat for yet more creep behaviour and then immediately trooned out to permakill all accusations, and he managed to become one of the democrats troon faces on call to show how h*ckin inclusive they were back when they still thought pandering to internet troons would get them mass popular support

That Zara thing is such a thread... Seeing his humongous body next to Keira's delicate frame is hilarious. And he looks like someone just inflated Ben Shapiro like a balloon.

You can see him here sharing his military expertise on a diverse panel comprising both men, himself (b.l.) and some sort of mummy (t.r.)

...This is genuinely creepy looking. Look at his eyes, look at his mouth, they look like clumsily pasted on. This wouldn't look out of place in one of these cliche analog horror videos about monsters imitating people.

The mummy is Thomas (now Giselle) Donnelly, a veteran of rightwing and military think tanks curiously.

Oh he is incredible. Check out his thread. He is such an obvious, obvious grifter and so many people have fallen for it.

Right-wing and military affiliations among troons are not uncommon. """Giselle""" did the pro-troon move of getting "her" education, military journalism career, and policy group direction for the House Committee on Armed off the ground in boy-mode, then release the woman within in 2018. Sexism can't keep your career down if you're a man till you say you're not!

Here's Giselle in a wig that says "you'll never find the other bodies, officer, it's too late".

That isn't too far from the facial expressions in the Black Hole Sun music video. Jesus.

It's the leather-jacket-wearing bad boy whom they collectively date to say "fuck you, dad!", and that's all there is to it.
I think some of it is certainly that, but I think a ton comes from a weird conception of the conservative-liberal political spectrum where they are unable to recognize that Islam is fundamentally conservative if not outright regressive. It's why they keep getting surprised whenever Muslims as a block break from the far left once they have enough political clout to do so. It's not a betrayal. It just politics.

This "I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous" line really sums up the egotistical, ridiculous view she has on the entire situation. She clearly thinks these successful 30+ year old actors should just shut the fuck up and be grateful to her forever because she wrote the books that movies they were cast in as children were based on, as if she came down from the heavens and gifted them with millions of unearned dollars and now they're stabbing her in the back by saying they don't agree with her
Okay but she literally did write the book that made Emma famous while living in poverty

Cute kids are literally a dime a dozen. If it wasn’t for JKs strict rules and selection criteria there is a huge chance they would have picked some Disney Channel girl.

You don't owe your actual parents infinite kindness and quiet on any view of theirs that you disagree with though, it's a stupid standard to hold and one that you would absolutely discard if they were on opposite sides of the issue.

I am afraid a nigga with an extremely large and musky cawk beat you to this comparison almost exactly a year ago
Leigh Bowery was doing this sort of stuff back in the eighties

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why the new series isn't using British actors? I thought that that was one thing Rowling insisted on for the original films.

It isn't a 'standard'. JK Rowling was pointing out that Emma Watson has luxury beliefs. Emma Watson went from a presumably middle-class childhood when she was 10 to being a multi-millionairess before she was 18.

I agree that Emma Watson should not be attacked because her views differ from the person who was factually a sufficient condition for the bulk of her $85m net worth. She should be attacked because her views are that of a deranged, mindless, leftoid NPC who thinks she's a feminist but doesn't even fucking know what a woman is.

I don't know, but perhaps Rowling recognised that she had already had her original stipulation filled and didn't need to repeat it for a different production.

I will be very curious however to hear the accents used and hope that the director has a modicum of sense that hearing an American accent in a Harry Potter show would instantly destroy the suspension of disbelief.

I remember the widespread disbelief when Renée Zellweger was cast as Bridget Jones and managed to get the accent right.

Final Clymer photo for the day because I can't resist. Sweet dreams, one and all:
