Why does the law allow UK citizens to be represented by non-citizens who aren't even elected directly by the voting public?
Because the SNP changed the law since they will do anything if somewhere down the line someone English experiences any form of discomfort.
He doesn't even have a confirmed birthdate? And he was just given the position? I have little hope in the current UK courts that this would be struck down, but that's a clear and cut case of rigged election.
Unfortunately no. Lack of a birthdate is not one I saw mentioned but being given the position is part of the list MSP process. The party is allowed to be voted in and then can pick who from their candidates needs to be put in the position.

The person they chose and where they chose to place them says a lot about the Green politics. I would be unsurprised if they plan to directly confront JK over this individual and put Scotland's idiot legislation to the test.

Wow, a guy whose parents have a bunch of slaves back in whichever sugar/tea colony he's from got to go to grad school and hold public office. So modern, great job troons.
Came across this post in a group for DragonCon. Woman asks if it's okay to wear her Luna Lovegood cosplay at the con (or like the Potterverse, period)

Good fucking god. American politics are shit, but not that shit.

But I bet if any of their favorite troon creators were outted as rapists/pedophiles, they would still buy said creator's media. Because groomer is just a made-up slur to call innocent vulnerable transwomxn who dindu nuffin after all. Who doesn't make a few "consent accidents"? Nobody's perfect! At least the consent accident didn't involve misgendering!

Not a troon, but a lot of them have seemingly forgiven Neil Gaiman for anally raping multiple young women because he wrote stories they like. Regardless, it’s much more hush hush compared to JKR’s non-crime. So this is a very real possibility.

Alas, no photos

But this might be it, going by the description

I was going to bring up Gaimen, too. He did objectively awful things to those women, did real harm, but no one brings it up like they do with Rowling's wrong-think.

I don't think Gaiman has been forgiven. However he has gone pretty much completely silent so there is no one to shout at.
I don't know—his fans on tumblr seem to have brushed it aside, but you are right: he has shut up. I suppose that's why JK is constantly on these people's mind and Gaiman is an afterthought.

Although, 'men are not women' is a far cry from the heinous shit Gaiman was doing.

Maybe “forgiven” is too strong a word. But I’ve noticed him get a lot less flack than JKR (or even other cancelled creators) despite committing far more heinous acts than most. Plus you don’t see people lose their shit over others merely liking Coraline. Can separate the author from the work then, huh?

Rowling being constantly rent free is a combination of ongoing public visibility, being an older woman, having immense cultural staying power, and the particular group she offended being one that's completely unable to cope with anything less than cringing, groveling fealty on a society-wide scale. If a group of scientists tried to create a perfect lab specimen specifically to annoy trannies, I'm not sure they could do any better.

The trannies really can't stand that JKR is better at being PC than they could ever dream of being.

Never mind that he's trans. Why does the law allow UK citizens to be represented by non-citizens who aren't even elected directly by the voting public?

This is in Scotland, UK law does not apply, same as US or French law etc.

Even Scots Law does not apply- nobody has changed any laws, the degenerate Greens are trying to pull a fast one.

No laws have been changed, unless you are talking about the D'Honte system , which was brought in by Jack McConnel and Labour.

The person they chose and where they chose to place them says a lot about the Green politics
Couldn't agree more.
The fallout from this should be interesting.

Not ideal, again blame Labour.

Everyone gets two votes, one constituency, one regional.
Both votes SNP retards are to blame for these types getting in.
Last election, 1 Million wasted second SNP votes got them 2 MSPs.
The formula stops SNP getting a massive majority.

Anyone claiming Minivan represents JKR is wrong, Coal-Scuttle Hamilton is her MSP for her constituency:

He won by a massive majority, which in itself is problematic, keeping Holyrood up till the small hours for Jack 'Beth' Douglas to be recognised as a true and honest wummin.

Pic of ACH and Beth for TL/DR.

Excellent historical and very long repository of Green Party paedophilia etc:

Someone needs to dub Alvin Stardust's Coo-Coo Ca Choo over this:

Scotland is in the UK. UK laws definitely apply, except for devolved powers.

The guilt-infested Harry Potter fan handmaidens remind me of the opening of Meat Loaf's "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth":

On a hot summer night
Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

Stop offering your throat to the trans activists, handmaidens.

Also, in 'normies don't give a SHIT about JK's cancellation' news, a product that has just launched in Australia: Harry Potter toothpaste. "Bubbling Cauldron" flavoured.

The Normies will set us free.

Nope, meant the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 which removed the requirement to be a citizen.

You're quite right about the messed up voting system being a Labour matter though. And devolution was Tony (spit) Blair.

UK law definitely does not apply as this is a devolved matter. See below:

You are right, I was wrong, they did change the law.

Wings is all over it today in fine detail:

Immigration law is reserved.
So he will probably get a gold plated visa even though he is ripe for deportation- blame Scotland.
