I didn't find what I thought I remembered, perhaps from a BarPod episode but I found something funny anyway. A few months ago it seems he went on a rant about how romance fantasy is dull and the "girlies" that are into it are dumb. Well of course he hates it, he's an autistic bloke into dragon stuff and Pokemon and queer stories. Buuuut those book-reading communities being what they are, no one could just tell him fuck off matey, noooo they had to tell him he has internalised misogyny.

Honestly they're just weirder than the should be. The first one is a cute childrens movie about a guy collecting silly creatures that veers into a bizarre sidestory about Collin Farrell groomung Ezra Miller who was raised in an abusive weird religous cult or something, then the second one is a weird lore movie about how Voldemort's snake was an asian chick and the whole Lestrange extended family shows up, and Ezra Miller is Dumbledore's cousin, and in the meantime, Collin Farrell, who is now, for some reason Johnny Depp, sees the future and wants to stop the Holocaust and WWII, but the good guys tell him that's a bad thing to do, and the third movie borders on nonsense, where Madds Miklelson, who was Johnny Depp, who was Collin Farrel kills a magic horse that determines the wizard king election, because even though they vote, the wizards vote with the magic horse 100% of the time, and necromancies it back to life so that it'll fake choose him, so he can become wizard Blumpf, and because he can read minds except for Dumbledore's, Dumbledore's gotta make a horse heist, but only he can know the plan so everyone else just does random shit for 90% of the movie, including Eddie Redmayne going to a crab prison and dancing with the crabs to escape that somehow stopps Madds who used to be Johnny who used to be Collin. The third movie especially is one of the strangest big budget movies I've ever seen, earnestly mystifying, impenetrably plotless to a degree that makes it kinda fascinating. I've seen the first two movies once... maybe twice each, but the third movie is something I've just shown to people at least a dozen times out of sheer fascination. Highly recommend it, might be the worst heist movie ever made.

It gets even funnier than that, shortly after he started getting flack for shitting on romantasy fans (poor choice as they are extremely online and make up the bulk of “booktube” and they are often crazy enough to take a swing at even a protected class) he posted a video basically suicide baiting, saying he was quitting YouTube for his “mental health.” Complete with fake tearing up and everything. And then lo and behold, he was back on YouTube like a week later.

And this is with half the troons on the planet review bombing it. Just goes to show what a tiny minority they are and how little most people care what severely mentally ill men in dresses think.
 
i love JKR so much.
i agree with her on anything she says regarding trans ideology, and the identity. her logic is concrete. i haven't read her books she wrote under her pseudonym but whenever i see news about her online where people in the comments are hating on her, i make sure to comment "i love her/JKR so much" with a heart emoji at the end. by doing so, i know it will make many people seethe and knowing that brings me peace

SNL decided to jump on the anti-Tourette's train. It's basically a sketch where a bunch of canceled celebrities use Tourette's to justify their vile behavior. Stuff like Mel Gibson hating Jews and telling his ex-wife he hopes she gets raped by a pack of niggers. Or Bill Cosby raping women, or Louis CK making women watch him masturbate or Armie Hammer "being a cannibal". Or JK Rowling having "an obsession with trans rights". Huh, yeah... (ignoring the fact that Armie Hammer is not a cannibal, he just had a fetish that he obviously never indulged in) one of those things doesn't seem remotely the same as the others, especially since Rowling has not tried to back away from her actions unlike the men in this sketch who have, so she really doesn't belong here. But I guess they just wanted to get a jab in at her because she's a nasty old TERF.
To be fair, Rowling isn't the only one whose horrible crime was tweeting something inoffensive. They also make fun of some woman who hated the Bad Bunny halftime show.

As far as I've seen, such headlines would be justified. In no other context would anyone get upset that a joke from the Scary Movie reboot is lazy. M3gan dancing is a lazy pop-culture reference but no one is getting upset about that. I don't see anyone angrily leaving sarcastic comments about "oh yeah, she's like Wednesday Addams, but she's Tuesday har har har". The fight scene with giant dildos doesn't look particularly ground-breaking either. Where are the angry screeds about that?

But somehow a joke about a character using they/them pronouns is just below your standards for a Scary Movie reboot. What's even funny about people demanding special pronouns? How can you think that there's anything funny about that?

Though apparently it's based on an actual Scream character so it's entirely justified.
