It would be beautiful if JK Rowling became racist. She has so much money she could definitely get away with it without any consequences, just like how she was able to criticize trannies without any consequences. Just look at Robert Pattinson. He was typecast just as hard as the pretty boy from Twilight and could have coasted on it like they did, but instead he actually got some acting chops and put the effort in to break out of his mold and do roles from Batman to a grizzled old lighthouse keeper. The people who got their careers made by the Harry Potter movies really have no excuse for wasting the opportunity of wild success, love from the public, and free connections with a ton of other very successful actors and people in the industry.
 
What makes Emma especially shitty is that her character benefited from hollywood misandry more than anyone wants to admit. She was given so many of Ron's courageous characteristics (and even his actual lines) that he was left looking like a bumbling retard in pretty much all of the films, which is not how he's written in the books. Hell, she's even given some of DUMBLEDORE'S lines to make sure she's also super wise.
