They made a huge deal out of goal explosions, onlyhave four that you can get from crates.
It should have been them. Or underglow. Or custom demolition explosions.

if you play ranked for any reason other than to feel superior over children and tards on the internet you may be doing it wrong, painted items are always more valuable and stylish than season rewards anyway

I used my rising star wheels for about a week before I started hating how they looked I can't imagine any banner under gc being any different

the Autumn Update was just announced, and I can finally stop blaming my lack of skill on Wasteland and Starbase

the downside: I can't blame my lack of skill on Starbase and Wasteland

also glad that there's more banners than just the ranked ones, it would have gotten boring fast

Thank you god. Starbase was easily the worst map not because of its size but because of its terrible design where the ball has a tendency to blend into the scenery. Not only is the flat version a standard size but they also fixed my biggest issue.
 
New update drops sometime tomorrow. Doesn't seem to be any new achievements added but I'm frequently wrong.
On Xbone there's a sale and I snapped up everything but Esper, might go ahead and get it anyway. I bought Vulcan just for the wheels.
I dunno about these autists and hitboxes in cars, I've been playing games since 1979 and no matter what I use I can aerial hit, flip like crazy, land in a boost pad and then demo somebody. If Hockey was ranked I'd be in the top %10.

You can just straight up spend a little more for unlocked crates, to save time in getting shit items.
You can also get other free shit. I like trails, boosts and animated things and the “Hallowtide” trail is pretty good, tbh.
I dunno why Psyonix hadn’t created more goal explosions. I’d want a blippy, bloopy pixellated one that makes harsh Commodore 64 type of sounds. Like from this game:https://youtu.be/UmKIzeHx7VE

Also, I think there should be a partnership with Coke or Pepsi with soda-themed items. I’d fucking rock a Coke Classic decal on my Octane.
 
The event is pretty neat so far. I've bought all 3 decryptors I could get (free keys, but you can't trade what you get with them), and I opened some Accelerator crates. So far, I've got a Jager 619 RS and a Popcorn goal explosion. The Jager is probably my favourite car in the game, but man, that goal explosion is garbage. If I could trade it, I would get rid of it ASAP since it's worth ~20 keys. I would be set for life.

A glitch/corruption goal explosion? Pretty neat, but I would prefer it as a boost. Throw in some dial-up sounds, and voilà. I'd use it. Come to think of it, Trinity is somewhat similar, but less blocky than the goal explosion you described.

How's the event been for everyone so far? Let's see your loot.

I've got nearly everything but the crates. With decryptors I got circuit board paint, and two import cars.

i like my new big orange dick mummy decal a lot, also these chrono wheels and the sky blue power-shot decal are my favorite now.
this halloween event's much better than the last ones, i actually have something to do beyond earning 6 common items and the rewards are actually good.

edit: also if anyone wants to play/trade on pc pm me. i have too much duplicate shit.

In the only case of it ever, the dabbing ghoul goal explosion is the only time dabbing is not fucking moronic.

that makes gold in season 2, rising star in 3, plat in 4, diamond in 5, and champ in 6
believe in ur dreams (and my dreams as i get the 9 wins i need left for season rewards) here's to gc in season 7 if i try hard enough
 
Pretty much at this point I’m just grinding Rumble and hockey for item drops. Most people are shit at the basketball mode and it’s boring dunking on people over and over, might as well be in exhibition with easy bots.

I’ve become one of “those people” who only want to collect cool items.

I will prolly buy the new physical release for the Dc comics items.

Last night, I played “Anita Sarkeesian” in an online Rumble match. They played like shit, too.
 
Just about everything in this new crate is fucking lame.

They need some fresh artists on the team or let fans design goal explosions and trails in a content.

I have not bought any keys, something shifted over at Psyonix snd I’m absolutely certain they’re deliberately creating boring, shit items to make us save up those shit items and trade up.

They need to create more completely out there bizarro items. If Rocket League had a story these matches take place in sort of a holodeck type of situation, so they could have glass wheels, wheels made of bacon and drippy grease, etc.


This shit is not hard, guise.


I’ve spent my dlc budget elsewhere, on more rewarding things.
