There's really simple ways like just running it up the side of the goal or just slamming it in at the kickoff if you can get it. A friend and I typically play 2v2 and we manage to slam the ball into the goal by hitting it at the same time, bouncing it off the ceiling, and into the goal. It rarely works, but when it does we make the other guys sit through the replay.
 
Me: alright, think I got the hang of this, time to reenter the competitive que. It won't nearly be as bad as Season 1 from last year where all I ever got was Bronze rank.

A few visual settings that improved my game play immensely on PC:
  • Camera Options
  • Camera Shake - unchecked
  • Camera FOV - 110.00
  • Camera Distance - 320.00
  • Camera Height - 90.00
  • Camera Angle - -5.00
  • Camera Stiffness - 0.50
  • Invert Swivel Pitch
  • Hold Ball Camera - unchecked
  • Ball Cam Indicator - unchecked
  • Ball arrow - checked
It'll give you a better view of the field at large and allow for more accurate shots because of lower camera angle. It was a night and day difference after stumbling on those settings.

This game kicks ass with 3 monitors. Only problem is that it handles resolution completely incompetently. It's incredibly sensitive messing and with it will screw the game up, so unless you do everything right, it'll crash and force you to hard reset your computer. Even alt tabbing out of it will crash it and make it impossible to exit out, and heaven forbid you accidentally enter any resolution that isn't fullscreen.
 
For the longest time I only wanted to use the Scarab, but having switched to the Breakout and then the Dominus I definitely have noticed a sharp improvement in my ability in the game. Namely in aerials, aerials are so much easier to do with the long flat cars.
 
Had steam cash left over from selling those stupid trading cards. Bought a crate key since all I had was 1.50 and I didn't feel like buying a CSGO skin (I do R6 now for my round based FPS) or a shitty indie game. Get a shit tier rarity paint for a car I don't even own.

Meanwhile the crate I gave my brother in exchange for a lightning trail drops a fucking universal mystery decal.

I am salt.
 
Been playing for about six months. One thing I like to do every now and then is go into Exhibition and play either the Urban Central map or one of the Rocket Lab ones with the following settings:

- 20 minutes
- 4v4
- 10x boost
- puck instead of ball

Can get pretty hectic at times
 
i'm actually trying to get good at this dumb rocket car shit competitively, i ended the season at Shooting Star so my dreams of purple champ wheels are dead but i'm gonna try to get Grand Champ this season
i'm not super bad mechanically, i've improved a shitton since last month, but i am god-awful at setting my own pace of gameplay in 2s and 1s, i kinda let the opponent decide for me and my rotation becomes nonexistant for my teammate

on the plus side i have a Hexed black market decal, a bunch of painted shit, and now blue rising star wheels so i've got my fashion bitch side goin.

any of you other cunts tryin to take car soccer semi-seriously as a sporthobby or am i the only dumb faggot here

Dropshot is fucking awesome. When you get the right teammates the matches can be super enjoyable, when you get the wrong teammates it's the worst gamemode in the game. Had a guy get bumped a lot and then he just totally stopped playing but didn't quit until 30 seconds left and we were down 2, fuck that loser.
 
I have the championship on, hopefully I'll get that rare item drop they promised that I can then sell to a neet for beer money.

The series is great, but postgame these autists can't be entertaining and talk shit like physical athletes.
 
New update is out. New customization items, the one I like is goal explosions. I've already got ones the kids are blowing up my im about buying. Too many of the generic ones are just like a splash of colorful jizz, though.
