Most of toyetic animated shows from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s have very shitty artstyles from overseas animators
The animators weren't the ones to who designed the characters or the art styles. As those and storyboarding were done by Americans* before the animation work get shipped off to overseas cheap labor.
*Or Europeans in some Euro-Jap co-productions while others have Japanese doing character designs and art syles.

What I'm trying to say is that these shows are rushed to sell toys

True but back then you'll be insulting the creators and audience's intelligence by saying all of them are shit. Cause if the show is shit, nobody going to watch it much less having their parents buying the merchandise.

Especially in the 80s when it was the golden age for toyetic Saturday Morning cartoons

I watched the thread to check this out later, and here I finally am on E01.

What is the drone supposed to cost, $1mil?
Suspension of disbelief is difficult: "Sherwooders are tight. They're smart"

That's one contrived way to get police and thieves fighting with bows and staves in the 21st century.

11/10, would racemix. I don't think I'll watch E02 though plus my pirate stream kept buffering.

Aaaaaaaaaand, its cancelled, to the shock of absolutely no one.

The channel's hip-hop drama "Robyn Hood," a reimagining of the Robin Hood tale by Director X that premiered last September, is not returning due to poor ratings, said Reeb.

Its funny, even that shithole, TV Tropes didn't have anything positive to say about it, but they still felt the need to back up the bullshit that it was only disliked because of dIvErSiTy
Upon (and prior to) its release, Robyn Hood was met with scathing reviews from numerous online sources and was generally unfavourably received. The show's creator, Director X took to social media and accused online critics of having rating-bombed the series due to racism and misogyny. Obviously, not all of these reviews (and especially professional ones) fit the bill... but given what happened with The Little Mermaid, or The Last Jedi, or The Rings of Power, or Captain Marvel, or any number of recent movies and series with diverse casts that were explicitly review-bombed by an extremely vocal group of online video creators and their fanbases shoving their racist and sexist railing against minorities and women in Hollywood in the same category as mere "film criticism", there's definitely something to be said about the specific vitriol directed at this particular series, or any work featuring a diverse cast. To quote the man: “The moment they heard Robin Hood was going to be a woman and black and bisexual … they immediately hated it from the moment we announced production." When a lot of said review bombing happened before the series had even released, it's hard to deny he has a point, even if him directly insulting anyone who left a negative review didn't help his case..

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, IT WAS SO FUCKING FUNNY. It was probably the best laugh of the month when I watched it with friends FUCK.

It's some of the funniest shit we've ever watched... Just not at all intentional. My favorite part was the deodorant ads edited into every episode in post.
I wanted a second season. I wanted to see how far Director X would take the shear retarded parodying of himself.

Can’t say I’m surprised. The only reason people even knew about it was because of how shit it was.
It feels like it wasn't even hated on for very long. The trailer came out, people hated it, the show comes out, people hate it and guys like Disparu and JLongbone trash it, but then after like a month, its totally forgotten about and everyone's moved on.
