Rio Olympics 2016 - Where the city runs green with bribery money and pool water

If you thought you didn't want to live on this planet due to the last few weeks, the hatred looks like it's about to get even worse for you. Why? The Summer Olympics in Rio are about to be underway, of course. With the political turmoil and corruption going on in Brazil right now, what could possibly go wrong?

Oh, boy, this could get interesting. The Olympic Village has been so well-constructed that the toilets are often blocked, wiring is exposed and water leaks are commonplace. The Australian Olympic teams and Hope Solo are among people that are refusing to go anywhere near there for fear of their health and safety.

The part you need to know about is how the mayor of Rio responded. With no sense of irony whatsover, he offered them a kangaroo to make them feel more at home at the Village. Because a kangaroo is going to fix the plumbing and electrical issues the place has.

This may or may not be a complete and utter shitshow, but it's something to definitely keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

If I'm not mistaken they have a rule that she had to take 3 months of estrogen in order to get her testosterone down before competition if I remember right

Do you remember when she sparked the same controversy in 2012? back then the olympic comitee and all involved parties decided to keep her test results private. Where'd they get the idea that telling the world she's basically a dude was a good idea?

Because tolerance and current year? Personally I don't know the IOC's reasoning for it.

Yea I needed no help knowing that was a dude.

To be fair, complete androgen insensitivity isn't something one can control.

I agree it's going to be unfair for someone no matter the decision, sometimes there's no good answer in life but I ask you, what's MORE unfair, something affecting the rest of the field or something affecting just one ..I agree I feel bad for her not only for this but now she has to see all the shit people are gonna say because her picture is everywhere. It's gonna be a rough time for her. But athletically it's just not fair to the other competitors, no woman no matter how hard she trains would be able to match that.

Once this becomes considered standard, watch as Women are pushed out of sports as Governments go on the hunt for Hermaphrodites to fill out Womens teams. Either that, or just waive drug bans altogether and have everyone become mutants, which would be entertainment all their own.

Men, women, and Tumblr.

For the Tumblr division, the medals will be replaced with extra hours in the ballpit.

And the Olympics have finally ended. Personally, and from what I've really seen, a lot of people in America didn't really care that much about it. The only people really profiled were Simone Biles, Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky and Ryan Lochte (for other obvious reasons). The ratings for NBC were pitifully low. In some cases, 50% lower than in 2012.

Looks like Brazil wasn't the only thing losing money hand over fist during these Olympics.

I think people were expecting a lot more calamity after so much shit went south literally up to the last minute before the Olympics began, what with entire infrastructure collapsing (bike path, sail boat launch platform, EVERYTHING in the village), the shitty water conditions, and those fun 'welcome to hell' signs held by the police at the airport.

Except besides one or two minor things like the green pool water and Lochte being a douche and ruining his endorsements, it actually didn't crumble into a giant burning ball of catastrophe like everybody was certain it would become within days. I think a lot of it may have had to do also with a bunch of athletes simply not going due to Zika, so less known star power than usual.

That would be fun!

Because this is the same body that tried to take off the original Olympic sport of wrestling. They don't make sense because the IOC operate on moon logic. Until more studies on the subject are conducted, they won't listen to the fact even the most feminine MtF still has a man's genes and bone structure.

I'll say this though, I was really surprised by Hungary I had no idea they were so competitive in the Olympics but they always seemed to be on the podium.

And also fucking Poland man everytime I saw a results list why yall always in last...just stay home man that shit was embarrassing
