Just wanted to point out that she absolutely knows. CG immediately jumped on her stupid moronic tweet and rubbed it in her fat face. She didn't even need to post it because people already had the Housten panel question archived. DnC even did a video on it at the time it was originally posted (~a few weeks after the TI). Waid was always going to be fucked on the no business in Texas response it's just funny that she helped bury Waid in her attempt to attack CG.
that is hilarious

She's really fucking stupid and I actually don't think she understands basic cause and effect relationships.

Apparently Waid was the guy who got Zach kicked off Kickstarter.
That's not confirmed. Kickstarter hired a massive SJW content curator before all of this went down. Zach wanted to launch quickly and Kickstarter was giving him the run around, even though he wasn't breaking any stated kickstarter rules, so he went to IGG. Anti-CG were obviously trying to deplatform him, but we can't confirm Waid.

The public evidence Waid is talking about relates to a woman HPcomiccollage? Zach was going to use as a social media manager / nag to make sure Jawbreakers was progressing. HP turned out to be a massive hassle with her nagging, so Zach dropped her, she went and posted private DM's about Kickstarter fuckery to his CG enemies.

Because again, by that time, in most people's minds, including my own, Meyer and Comicsgate were interchangeable
JFC. I knew waid was dumb, but he just stated every defamatory thing he's said about Comicsgate can reasonably be applied to Meyer.

I remember seeing Waid come very close to stating he was directly involved somewhere. In any case, he stated that he was involved/responsible in his deposition.

Oh man, Nick can't handle how badly Waid is sinking his own position. He might as well not even have a lawyer for all the good they're doing. Poor Pierce

I still don't get how that was supposed to make Zack look bad. It just proved that he was being jerked around by kickstarter and made her look like a bitch for releasing private DM's

Remember when Jamal Igle was the stupidest fucker ever to opine on law on Twitter? I'm nostalgic for those days.

Waid is just repeatedly ignoring the fact that his lawyers are objecting to questions and then giving them the exact answer they want. The man is a buffoon. An imbecile.

Nick just clarified and it's my position. Waid has the info, but it's not confirmed he was involved.

This part of Joe's letter really speaks to me. All of these busybodies trying to AP that publishing Jawbreakers will hurt them, threatening boycotts and saying no one will buy their books again. But none of these assholes even buy AP's shit in the first place and probably still don't. They should have told those cucks to pound sand and published the book anyway

Is that what happened with HPComiccollage? They did neat stuff -- basically they take Comics, cut them up, and make IRL wallpapers out of them. In the middle of CG they suddenly had a huge falling out, though.

I must have missed it. If Waid has documentation, then there is a very good chance there was an email chain between the dangerhair at kickstarter and himself. Unless those emails were after kickstarter said no, I would argue Waid was still involved. Honestly, I don't see Waid's ego allowing him to not be involved.

Re object to form, is there really any consequence to saying it? The person being deposed has to answer the question anyway, apparently, so what's the point?
They're covertly signalling to Waid to tread carefully when answering those specific question so as not to incriminate himself. But then he goes and answers those questions in the most incriminating way possible anyway.

Honestly it looks like she joined the spurned women's club. They all want to ride his D and he's refused.

Maybe, but he's also referencing evidence he's already provided (all garbage). If it's "new" evidence it's likely the HP DM's that were dropped. (Edit: I'll re-go through that section and correct if wrong, but i'm currently going through the new depositions)

Here's another good part this looks to tie specifically to Knox v Taylor that Nick likes to source.

OOF, not that it was needed in Texas, but there goes Waid's twitter 'not harassed' response evidence.

Waid thinks he'll get away Scott-free. (first 3rd party response I've seen)

This beautifully fits directly into Knox v. Taylor. I bet this guy is entirely aware of the legal implications of what he's saying, too. He comes across as extremely angry that he was bullied into a decision against his own conscience by a slimy, slimy man like Mark Waid.

To expand on this, you're not supposed to coach your clients when it comes to depositions and other testimony. This is basically the best they can do to tell their client that with this question especially they would be best to pay close attention to the question, not fucking lie, and volunteer as little information as possible. Technically later on the representative has the opportunity to expand on the objection and say the information shouldn't be used by the court.

"Form" problems include leading questions, lack of foundation, assuming facts not in evidence, mis-characterization or misleading question, non-responsive answer, lack of personal knowledge, testimony by counsel, speculation, asked and answered, argumentative question, and witness’ answers that were beyond the scope of the question.

The damn depo cuts off before the Waid call. Shit.

Who are Timothy Lim and Joe?

We just got a "How embarrassing!"

In response to "You haven't turned on me, have you?" from Waid, sounding as much like a fucking comic book villain as he possibly good.
I need art of this. Who are our artists on here?

So Waid was at the deposition of Ap? Why the hell would he comment like that?

Tim Lim is the creator of Donald Thump, My Hero Magademia and Trump Space Force graphic novels. These are all published through AP and he was the person who originally got AP and DnC into bed with each other. Joe appears to be the owner of AP, you can find his deposition as 'exhibit A'

Waid was teleconferencing in and because he's a massive idiot who thought he just got off the hook for the lawsuit.

So basically it's a signal to the client to "be careful" when answering the question. Off topic, IIRC, didn't Alex Jones' lawyers do this, and he started mentioning "edited" in every answer?

With a guy like Waid though, I would expect the hint to fall on deaf ears, and him to walk right into it.
