It's almost as if he's becoming more desperate as the texts go on.I love the "I'll lose your number" one. The desperation. I can smell it from here.

The genius manages to yet again, hurt his own case badly. If he just left it, there could be a dispute whether or not he was bullying AP. With these texts begging/trying to coerce Dunn into saying he wasn't bullying them, there is no dispute that he did bully them. What a complete spastic.I think he's probably increasingly chimping out, like Gary Groth described him behaving in an office environment, but having destroyed more than one iPhone in a squalling, crying, screaming tantrum already, he knows they're too expensive for that.
So he's texting because he can't control himself verbally, but increasingly losing his shit as he continues not getting what he wanted, which was apparently to bully some dude into denying that he was bullied. He has no idea what a complete piece of shit he looks like in the cold light of day.
He sounds like a crazy stalker ex, and he's some guy who's talked to this dude maybe once or twice. What a mental case.
I also like that Zaid had to haul his ass all the way to Texas to sit in the deposition, unable to do anything. Completely pointless having him there, other than giving him an excuse to ramp up fees.
It may have been pointless from Waid's point of view but I'm sure Disney wanted him there to give a report afterwards.
I posted all of the DMs in the main doc earlier.

We have texts, posts, transcriptions, yet not a SINGLE death threat. How convenient.
I wish I had a big brain to understand comic pros logic.

Is there a discovery phase for the Anti-SLAPP motion? Just curious about that.
Ever been around 5 year olds at an ice cream party?
This is actually really interesting to me in that he refuses to take ANY responsibility for what happened and the fallout. "People were angry at me for what I openly said I did.. HOW MEAN OF THEM!!" That's basically his stance.
I made a helpful presentationI wish I had a big brain to understand comic pros logic.
Damn so its safe to assume he omitted the DM's from his lawyers then? I mean they would have led with the Anti-SLAPP instead of jurisdiction arguments to avoid discovery? No, there's no discovery for a motion on the complaint. Everyone knows what's in the complaint.
Even 5 year olds know if you flip over the ice cream then nobody gets to eat any.
He's completely oblivious to what he looks like and that it's the book burners who look like Nazis, not the people who the Nazis are after.
This is a scene that will never occur in Mark Waid's life:

wait does she knows she did this? Also kind of wondering what that other deposition was..Well at a minimum they might have asked more questions of their client to avoid committing perjury in the first filing, that led to the early discovery. The early discovery wasn’t because they made a jurisdictional challenge. It was because Waid lied to the court in that challenge and immediately got caught in it.
He claimed he had no connections to Texas, did no business in Texas and in no way fell under Texas jurisdiction. After which it came out the actual amount of business he did in Texas, and that he was in fact at a Con in Texas when he gave the defamatory interview about Meyer that is part of the lawsuit.
Oh and to make that even more delicious, Renfamous had tweeted out about seeing him there as a way to support Waid and attack Meyer, not realizing that she helped prove Meyers claim, and open up discovery regarding Jurisdiction.
