Yeah idk what people are talking about. Ashley still has huge (realistic huge not anime huge where they’re each the side of a fucking watermelon) tits and they do jiggle. Her outfit without the jacket on is almost practically identical to the one she wears in the old game.
Ada’s dress being a weird sweater thing is odd but she still has a dumpy and an alternate costume is likely to be included.

See that Crowbcat? The original creator of RE4 enjoyed it. You can enjoy a video game like a normal person without having a retard panic attack because Ashleys farts are one decibel below the normal standard.

Extremely unpopular opinion but after beating RE4MAKE on professional and then replaying the original I think I like the remake more.

Synthetic man is right when he says gameplay is the most important factor and the combat and exploration is just so much better here it's not even comparable.

Sure it would be nice to see Ashley's panties and not have Ada look and sound like shit but gameplay wise I can't go back.

The knife combat/parry mechanic is fucking cool and I hope they keep it in future games.

Still waiting for the game to go on sale, but on a lighter (and more Islamic) note...

The jiggle physics still exist; they're just more focused on another model.

Regenerators were supposed to scare me, not make me horny! Good job, capcuck, worst remake ever.
Ashley and Ada have jiggle physics as well. Ashley still has tits too. I don't really get the "muh censorship" claims on that one.
It's just not being able to look up her panties, really. I don't mind Ada's outfit change because her wearing the red dress as part of her op outfit was always retarded.

I'm really leaning towards this opinion more and more too. I love the original but if I had to choose between which one has the more fun moment to moment gameplay? Tight call.

The maps are better constructed for sure. But the gameplay is still an issue with the input lag, eating inputs and inertia. Although the modern gamer doesn't care about that nitpick stuff.

The movement and input stuff is really only impactful on professional and maybe hardcore if you're bad at shooters and action games.

Your average normie won't even notice it playing on normal.

So I'll probably try RE2R soon. Any tips? I'm pretty shit at action games like this, should I play on the easiest settings to save myself the headache?

Would recommend playing with keyboard and mouse for aiming. It's not too hard, but it can be a little aggravating when you're trying to organise your inventory and juggle extra ammo with key items.

I'm gonna be playing in handheld mode on Steam Deck. Oh fuck, I just remembered this game doesn't let you pause time in the item menu, does it?

Don't bother with killing Lickers. Unless you make a mistake you can avoid them entirely. Just walk past them. You can be almost right on top of them and they won't aggro.

Mr. X walks faster off screen and sometimes he'll warp to a place he honestly shouldn't be at if you're keeping his spatial orientation in your head. Also, don't bother shooting him. He cannot enter save rooms per se but he can enter the main hall which is a save room in the first run.

The 2nd runs give both Leon and Claire different started pistols and they get different ammo than the regular handgun ammo. Don't even bother with the regular pistol once you pick up the new one which is within the first five minutes of the game. Since you cannot find handgun ammo in the wild, it's only .45 you can pickup.

Don't be careless with flash grenades. There's multiple areas they're sorta required to avoid much headache and even taking a continue.

Especially don't be careless with regular grenades with Leon since they make the final battle so much easier with X.

Claire is built more for Lickers and boss battles since she has the grenade launcher, and Acid rounds are the best thing on G. She's not as good against zombies and dogs.

Leon is better suited for zombies and dogs. But he's kinda ass against Lickers and bosses. Don't even bother trying to kill Lickers especially with him since the shotgun had it's balls cut off compared to RE2 OG.

Zombies sway like crazy, so headshots can be a real pain sometimes. Hold your aim where they're going to be.

The reticle blooms outward when moving and will tighten in after a few moments when you're still. When it tightens, you do more damage.

Save all magnum ammo for bosses. But this is standard for RE. But the ammo is particularly tight here where as the original you can get to the lab and have 50+ easily. I don't think I've had anymore than just under 30 in all my playthroughs. Although I sometimes use the Deagle in the sewer against one or two of the G mutants since they're a complete pain in the fucking balls to deal with.

Leon's flamethrower is his best weapon on bosses since it's sustained damage output is way higher than anything else he has.

When playing as Leon. Regardless of which run. Use the shotgun on zombies and don't fear your wasting ammo since it's really all it's good for. You'll find a lot of zombies unconscious throughout the game and they'll eventually awaken. You can decapitate them early and remove the threat.

I always knew Crowbcat was a faggot. I’ve finally been vindicated.
Some of his videos are good. The Dead Rising comparison is a damning indictment of how shit the series became after the first two entries, but the RE4 video feels a bit manipulative.

On normal mode I noticed a couple of shitty things. The game ate one of my inputs and Leon changed weapons when I decided to aim and shoot instead. The MP5 also not shooting anywhere fucking near where my reticle was aiming when I first bought it was also horseshit.

That aside, I like the inertia Leon has and his animations are divine. Partying feels great.

I have to disagree with Claire and the dogs, if only because the SMG's able to pick them off pretty quickly without expending too much ammo.

Who cares if it was retarded. It was cheesy fun, which meant it fit right in with that game.

We're all human. We can't knock it out of the park every time.

Yeah you're right. I honestly forgot she even had that. I only play as Leon if and when I play it. But she's still pretty average on zombies. Although she's a bit better when your get the Browning HP out of the police car trunk.

I hate how spongy the zombies are in that where there's really not knockback and it's primarily stunning them for just a split second. There's really no benefit to headshots beyond an off chance of a critical.
