Luckily if you have co-op partners you can cheese it. Not everyone has to enter a boss arena so you can always leave someone at the crystal to restart a boss fight. I feel almost necessary for some bosses like the CUBES and the Corruptor since they can instakill or you get killed by the level itself. Probably better for 3 man co-op though.
This is what I had to do back when I was still playing. If I was still interested, I'd just cheat it in.

A new DLC came out, which was news to me, another 10 dollars and this time it's Yaesha.

It's fine, I liked Awakened King more, haven't found all the weapons and only just got the new class so can't say much there yet.

This one feels way more exploration/ puzzle based so if you want your Tomb Raiding in Remnant this is the one to focus on.

Woah another shitty "puzzle" for a really awful gun.

Gun genuinely sucks, you get 2 shots and then have to reload, but if you reload like it's Gears of War and get it at the right mark you fill a square, and get 3 shots now, do it 3 times with each adding another to the total and on your fourth reload you get infinite shots for a few seconds. The squares also decay over time if you don't do the reload. Who the fuck is going to do that while fighting? Too much hassle and the damage is bad.

Looks like it's more of a "trophy" weapon anyways; granted, you'd expect a bragging rights reward to actually be decent, but...

Bummer it's shit but I didn't feel like any of the "prestige" weapons in the base game were good enough to craft builds around either.

Haven't played any of the new content and probably won't for a bit. Too much other crap to play right now.

Dude, they made an entire archetype a bragging rights reward. I don't think Gunfire really understands the concept, much less how to make it good.

I love the N’Erud zone so I I hope they make it more like the first expansion instead of the second one.
It was my 2nd favorite, even if it was my least favorite I hope they make a better DLC than the last one we got, very disappointing.
I wonder how retarded the puzzle they add for some terrible weapon will be this time.

Kinda betting on a melee weapon this time; we got a sidearm in DLC 1, a long gun in DLC 2; I could see a melee weapon as the puzzle reward for DLC 3.

DLC comes the 24th, along with an update that adds a boss rush mode, new class looks like it has a robot pet which is the first post release pet class.

Class is called Warden, support based, drone pet uses energy to restore shields, works sort of like the engineer guns, can choose a specific ally for it to focus on supporting.

Didn't show the damage/team/utility/relic perks.

A couple of months ago I came back to see how the game has changed and finish all the dlcs. Somehow I bricked my old save; the framerate would drop to single digits and I couldn't figure out why, so I began again armed with out of date knowledge, only to discover the faerin's sigil/stone of malevolence infinite mod spam "exploit" was patched. Not to worry, the old hugs paradigm was boring anyway. The new-ish ritualist seemed bretty cool so I made a build around dots. I was initially using ritualist/medic but the shield from the warden was better for overall survivability.

There's probably more optimal armor but I liked the look of this setup. It has like 8 hp/s regen plus and additional 4.5%/sneed when generating band is active so it's super survivable. It's only real weaknesses are thick skin/elemental resist bosses and the last boss of the dark horizin dlc simply because his last phase has him too damn far away to hit with miasma so all that's left is the burn from the shotgun and whatever the krell axe can eke out. I did beat the 19 boss rush on apoc with it but it's certainly not all that fast at it. There's a slightly more optimized version of this build on the build db site (found here) but I like this because it's mine.
Anyway, the build kind of plays itself; apply all the dots and then just try and stay alive, reapplying when necessary.
Fortunately I had access to the ahanae crystal from a previous cheesed hardcore run.

edit: the addition of the prism is a real game changer. Same with a lot of the dlc items. Most of the old builds from vanilla were some variety of hugs goblin or immortal zdps tank; now there's a ton of variety, though it's sad it seems to only have truly come online at the very end of the game's lifespan.
