For 6 months I helped to moderate the /r/Ireland on-line community of 65k+ with a team of others. It taught me many things about working in the purely digital space, demands on and balancing time, grace under fire, digital stalking, bullying and being a woman on line, but also how great a team can be, even if you have never met and don't even know peoples real names.

It was a very steep learning curve and has taught me a great many things about myself as much as anything else. I continue to be an active part of the community.

The fact that Reddit admins are only acting now after several inoffensive subreddits were DFEd over the past few years is very confusing to me. Tranny jannies were allowed to nuke subreddits they deemed transphobic countless times before, especially normie subreddits for women. Excuse me if I’m out of the loop, but what’s stopping them now? Why is the admin only stepping to the plate now? It’s a bit late, don’t you think? What am I not getting?
