>Plays nintendo switch while commuting
This immediately tells on them that they're not a serious person and their points should be ignored.
>Hates public transport because "bad people" use it
Most people don't hate public transport, they don't want to be stabbed by some black guy who was just released from prison.

God forbid people have fond memories that they look back on and sometimes wish to be back in those simpler times, I guess???
Also who cares if the image is AI. I've seen so many actual photos like that, that I didn't even notice until it was said. The real photos get the same exact reactions and evoke the same emotions so I don't get the quote xeet's point.

It has recently come to my attention that redditors are eating fruits in the shower. Have you seen this, have you heard about this?

Based and kramerpilled. The heat and humidity of the shower really bring out the bouquet of aromatics in the fruit

Just doing a drive by post to say that Reddit fucking sucks and the "insights" tool proves it so plainly.

This is on a post that has literally nothing to do with India BTW.
LOL

it can be assumed that anyone visiting from Canada is also Indian, so the top two bars on the graph can be merged.

people like this seem to believe that everyone buys cars brand new, and that's not even the most retarded thing they believe
If you buy new a reasonable economy car is like what? $35k USD off the lot? Amortized over 6 years it's not an unreasonable of money per annum. Even on poverty wages $6k/year is not terrible.

Loading yourself down to the gills with debt is not a problem inherent to car ownership, but that's not a conversation reddit is ready to have 💅

An explanation for what's happening here and the mindset that produced this post:

There is a very widespread, but essentially uncodified and unspoken of ideology that believes the 1990s was the pinnacle of human civilization. Half of Gen Z wishes the Internet didn't exist. There is widespread support - among all age groups - for policies like Australia's social media ban for under-16s, which comes across to me as being primarily motivated by a sort of desperate and muddled attempt to wind the clock back, at least when it comes to childhood (we tend to be quite happy to impose on children rules we like but aren't willing to impose on ourselves).

Mentally speaking, there's a lot of appeal to thinking like this. The year 2000 is a very obvious "checkpoint" where every negative change in society since can be mentally categorized as "modern bullshit we didn't have to worry about in the past". It can be quite soothing to think back to a world when a lot of the nonsense we have to deal with now simply didn't exist. The real world is obviously a bit more nuanced than that (good things have happened since 2000, and there were problems that existed before 2000 that we largely don't have to deal with now), but the problems from back then can be easily glossed over, which you can't do with the problems we face now.

Even though people of all political stripes can do this, there is an inherently reactionary element to it - a lot of the changes people would identify as negative include mass immigration, social media poisoning both men and women against each other, and a new imaginary gender and sexuality that you're not allowed to criticize being invented once a week. OP sees these things as good, so when people wistfully say "Man, the world was better when there was less bullshit in it", they subconsciously identify the subtext as "Other people think people like me and the things we promote are making the world worse". And since you can't actually change the past to take that away from them, your only recourse is to lash out and name-call.

That, in a nutshell, is how you get someone who sees a picture of a kid playing Mario 64 and thinks "fascism".

>Hates public transport because "bad people" use it
I use public transport everyday and hate it because, yes, bad people use it.

For every nice and comfortable train ride with a beautiful view, there's ten where you are surrounded by cultural enrichment. You're lucky if they're speaking in their gobbledeegooky tongue, else you can just spend the next 40 minutes listening to obscenities.

Of course, you won't be seated, little chuddy. You gotta stand and pay out of your ass for the privilege.

It really shows that redditors never go outside.

Some of the comments are doing just that. They're trying to argue that its billionaires fault and of course doing the typical Reddit leftist thing of "Were more educated than the right"

Here hes trying to claim that having nostalgia for Mario isn't fascism but an "Unchecked nostalgia that distorts reality". Some of these people are even trying to claim that the 90s weren't even that great either.

I don't know if anyone here is a 90s kid, but I remember my parents were able to have kids and a house in a good economy at their young age back in these days. Sure, there isn't a decade that's perfect and could suck for you depending on where you were born, but I'm pretty sure most adults who lived in these days miss when the economy and housing prices weren't shit in the US
