I took once took a university course about linguistics and part of the material included a study that found that the people of the lower classes (including nigspeak) could understand the dialect of the people socially and economically above them perfectly fine, while people in the middle and upper classes had a much harder time comprehending the dialect of the lower classes.

Naturally, the course concluded that the middle and the top's reasoning for not understanding nigspeak was RACISM and CLASSICISM, and not because minorities and poors are FUCKING RETARDS!

I am reminded that "ask" and "ax" were pretty much interchangeable at one point, to the extent that Chaucer used both on the same page.
I therefore suggest that any nog who wants to study ebonics should be locked in a room with The Canterbury Tales until they actually understand it.

I remember back in the day it was a huge faux pas to refer to a black person as "articulate" or "well-spoken" since it implies that most niggers by default are not articulate or well-spoken (which is true, but we have to pretend not to acknowledge that.) This seems like the natural evolution of that, where we have to pretend that some ambiguously-sentient ape mumbling about muh dih or finna fuh a hoe is just as worthy of respect as literature or a speech written by someone with a strong command of the English language who carefully chooses every word and syntactical choice to best convey the point they're trying to make.

Ebonics is interesting from a linguistic standpoint. The idea that it follows rules is absurd because I know black people in the North who cannot fully understand their Southern relatives. Black dialects/creoles/orcspeech/whatever you wanna call them do form organically, but it's very localized. I can understand Ebonics from places like Philly, New York, and Baltimore, but it's harder to understand people from Louisiana.

Of course, this all begs the question of "why can't African Americans speak plain English?" The answer depends on your disposition.
 
Ebonics is no different to any other regional accent. A lot of working class and poor people have their own weird versions of English and will argue over what a bread roll is called. Ebonics stands out because it's an ethnic group who have balloons for lips so can't pronounce anything properly. And then you get them calling each other niggers and claiming it's a different word.

It's not like it's some super important thing parents are forcing their kids to go to school sick for. It's also not like most children are fragile, sickly, and immunocompromised as most redditors somehow seem to be.

Children can be literal petri dishes but you don't see parents and school staff dying left and right over the common cold or covid. Of course the average redditor can't even walk to their mailbox without having an autistic meltdown so what do they know about the real world.

This fucking dipshit has completed the game multiple times and thinks it's a failure on the games part that he is now bored with it. Nigga move on, play something else if you're so bored. I think he's trying to humblebrag about how much time he's put in but who is impressed by 100%ing Skyrim after 15 years?
