can't be very white then, bahai is a middle eastern faith. it originated as an offshoot of islam but deviates a lot from islamic teaching, to the point where muslims now consider them all heretics and apostates.
the biggest bahai populations are in iran and india, their holy sites are in israel i believe. they are sometimes subject to persecution from muslims, especially in post revolution iran (the ayatollahs there really dislike their weird heretical teachings)

Bahai is basically what would happen if redditors created a religion. It's from Persia, and its main philosophy is that there is one god who wants to reveal truth to lead humanity towards a progressive future. Their goal is to unite every religion in the world into Bahai, and make people realize that any prophet or similar figure in their religion, like Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, or Muhammed were all just envoys from the same god, and to create a one world government to establish world peace. It's perfect for a person like this, who like the comfort that religious faith offers, but is too afraid of commitment or discipline to actually dedicate herself to a real faith where some amount of sacrifice is necessary.

Spot on. I never met a non-iranian bahai apart from the spouses of said iranians, maybe that's the situation with that girl. It's an easy and open religion to convert to, they are not too loony either, when talking to them you don't get that vibe you'd get from a JW or some protestant off-shoots. Kinda feel sorry for them getting thrown into the muzzie pot just because they look like sand niggers.

Yeah, it's very hippy dippy and i never had the feeling its believers are hard into nor behind it, i don't even think they have something akin to Sunday Service. I'm okay with them because they are not violent, not fanatic and are not proselytizing. I'd take a hundred of them over one muslim (as long as it's the iranian and not the indian variety).

For those unaware, ZeroCovidCommunity is a subreddit filled with the most brain broken people you may ever see. These people were so thoroughly destroyed mentally by the 2020 lockdowns and panic they think covid is still a major health issue in 2024, and post angry, depressed, bewildering rants daily about how no one takes them seriously anymore even though covid is TEH MOST DANGEROUS THING EVAR!!!!1

These people mask daily and virtually every single one has had covid multiple times, yet they're still insistent that everyone must mask and exile themselves from their families in increasingly antisocial ways. Here are a few threads:

No matter how hard they try, they still get covid, and it turns out it's not the airborne super AIDS they had hyped themselves up for (but that still won't change how they act). This one literally doesn't even report any symptoms whatsoever (covid has become so mild it's very frequently asymptomatic and the only way you know you're even sick is if you get tested):

Fortunately it's not a big community, but these people are still out there. Luckily they shut themselves in their home so often or self-id with fancy face diapers every time they go out they're easy enough to avoid irl.
